This is where the cowardice of the NFL annoys me. If a player disgusts you to such a degree that you'll make it nigh impossible for him to find a job, ban him for life. I would have a lot more respect for an outright banning than all of this passive-aggressiveness.

There's less in the way for the team that signs him now then there was last year.

Nobody wants him.

He took a toilet seat to his own career.

Where else could he be a fit? Teams like OAK and PHI might take a flier on him, if he were a scheme fit, I guess. Dallas was perfect for him, and it sure looks like he blew it here.

That's just it… It seems that nobody is showing any interest in them – not even Oakland or Philadelphia. You know the old saying… Where there's smoke…

Jerry- just go ahead and sign him to another 1 year with incentives, if Hardy becomes a distraction and does not produce. Cut him and wash your hands, it's simple as that or see if you can make a trade or wait for June 1st cuts.

Draft Zeke if not trade down and get more quality prospects early in the draft.

Simply, teams are getting sick of shame and blame in a whole group of physically aggressive players with little social controls. One should not get paid at those levels, that are open predators.

I would gladly settle for a plate full of valid starters. Depth for the first season after this draft.

If I had a guess, I would surmise that the NFL head office put the word out to teams FO that Hardy would not be a good idea to sign. The same
thing appears to have happened to that RB from Baltimore...remember him of the elevator. I'm sure Hardy could find a CFL team to take him on this
year... He..He!

As I've stated in this board numerous times throughout the years I do not care what they do off the field! I want to be entertained by the best football players on the planet. He's one of them and he's here for the taking. We've already taken the heat in the press last year why waste it now? Because our HC is a Pansy?

Do another 1 year deal, which seems to be the norm accross the NFL these days, and then you can do whatever you want in the draft and not reach for once!
I agree and also do not care what they do off the field, but if Hardy was a problem in the locker room, then I don't want him. I would prefer to hear specific things that he did and don't want to base my opinion on empty reports of him being a problem. It appears that Garrett does not want to coach him and that does mean a lot to me. He may be on of the best players individually, but if he brings the team down, we can't have that.

so the lack of interest doesn't at all point to any of this being true? there is literally no interest in him. this time last year, he was signed, has to be some reason.

The only confirmed interest he had last year was from Dallas too. It was the only visit the guy made as I recall so I don't see where the same lack if interest proves anything.

As I've said numerous times, if he did what gossip and tumors woukd have us believe, he should be gone, and he shouldn't get another job. But that news should be researched fact with quotes and truth behind it, and not thus baseless innuendo that one lazy writer parrots from what another lazy writer assumed.

Is giving us some facts too much to ask?

It's the same idea in the corporate world... If you get fired, no one in the company or HR will provide any negative info on you
because we live in a "sue happy" world. What your not told should tell you volumes.

if coaches aren't willing to go on record, they aren't going on record. but if none of the stuff is true, there would be no reason to not bring him back

Conspiracies also sell good but the fact is Hardy got another chance and blew it. He may very well get even another at some point. But Hardy did this to himself, the nfl didn't do it to him. As for that RB, if he was still a good player he would have gotten another shot too. Talented players are going to get more chances and those who don't have talent are'nt
If Hardy had did his part to show he was serious about football he would be rolling in the cash right now. I don't know all that happened but teams around the league make it their business to know
When a very talented player is passed over its usually because of what he has done, not what the nfl has done

I wish that another team would sign him so that we don't have to keep hearing about this idiot still being an option for us.

He isn't the missing piece for a Super Bowl.

I'm truly amazed that some fans actually want us to resign him.
Call the article BS...maybe some of it is. I don't know.

What I do know is before his lackluster season last year, we were the only team really looking to sign him.
Now there are stories about his lack of professionalism and a season that was underwhelming, and in a league where a guy who's never had more than 7 sacks in his career gets the biggest contract ever for a DE, once again not a single team, super bowl contender or not, has even tried to sign him.

It blows me away that anyone who knows the Cowboys would think we are the only team able to correctly evaluate this guy, so we should sign him now because we need him.

Amazing!

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, acts like a duck...it's probably a duck...
Certainly not a swan!

an ugly duckling would be signed though if a team thought it would bring 15 sacks
