DMN Update: Roy Williams has sprained left wrist...*results negative*

According to the DMN, Williams is day-to-day.

But....it's our training staff....day-to-day may wind up being four months.

Crayton's high character!!.... you mean the guy that quits on routes, drops key passes and is shooting his mouth off endlessly when he hasn't accomplished anything to be even shooting his mouth off about.... that Patrick Crayton, who's number were inflated two years ago playing against substandard corners, like the Rams game... is that the patrick Crayton you're talking about...

Did you call Michael Irvin a coke head too, or did you give him a second and thrid chance...and a pass

Please name me some substandard cornerbacks in the NFC East, and against the rest of that schedule two years ago...Green Bay comes to mind as a formidable foe.

But yeah we should go out and sign Matt Jones!!!!

Oh wait:

So Matt Jones has "way more talent" than Crayton, but produces less? Sounds like a winner to me.

That's what TheQuestForSix said! We gotta bring us in Matt Jones, because everyone knows that problematic, unsigned players in the NFL lead to an immediate Super Bowl birth and victory.

As DallasEast might say...

Championship!!!!

It's pretty simple actaully. How many Quarterbacks have Jacksonville gone through in the last three years, and how many has Dallas gone through.

Tell me who the T.O type receiver that would play opposite Jones on Jacksonville?

Tell me who the Probowl tightend that plays for Jacksonville during the last three years.

And tell me which team was ready made for the last three years and which was a passing team first, running team second and which was a running team first and passing team second.

Crayton has been in the league six years, Jones four. Crayton is what he is, one 50 catch season, he's not getting any better, Jones had 65 rececptions last year in 12 games no less and 47 of those were for firstdowns, thats a chain mover, keeps drives going, is bigger, faster, 4 years younger, and upside, if you think Crayton will ever hit 50 receptions again, you're dreaming..

T.O had 69 receptions last year in 16 games, 65 in 12 games for Jones

Teams stay away from Jones cause of the off field issues. I can understand that. The guy can ball though.

guess you missed Jax spending every offseason since they drafted him trying to replace him, because he sux. Oh, and he's lazy and a drug head.

WONDERFUL combination!

Agreed. He's a bum. I don't want him anywhere near the Dallas Cowboys.

X-Rays Negative On Roy Williams' Wrist
Posted by jellis at 8/16/2009 5:54 PM CDT on truebluefanclub.com
Cowboys vice-president Stephen Jones said x-ray results were negative on the left wrist of receiver Roy Williams.

Williams missed Sunday's afternoon practice to see a doctor about a left wrist injury, the severity of which is still at the moment unclear with MRI results pending.

Wade Phillips didn't mention anything about Williams being injured during his press conference earlier in the day. Williams practiced normally with the team Sunday morning, and did not show any signs of discomfort or stress afterward, signing autographs as normal.

It was Williams' first missed practice of camp. He and Tony Romo had displayed improved cohesion over the last week or so.

The status of Williams' wrist could determine whether they get to continue developing together for the time being.

Probably a case of "The Stranger."

Great news on results.

Patrick Crayton has really earned some respect back from me for sure.

He's a good receiver, and he may have his best year this year.

We just took the trash out is the point.Maybe Jones will shape up but i don't care to trust a roster spot to a turd.

So Jacksonville spent every offseason trying to replace him, did they...well, I guess Dallas must be trying to replace Witten then huh, you know, drafting Fasano, Bennett, Philips and then signing Hannah, Curtis and chandler... or maybe they're trying to acquire more talent, and not just trying to replace him...

Jones must of been really lazy last year to catch 65 balls, and was by far, jacksonville's best receiver..oh, great analysis there, by you---HE SUCKS, wow, that's well thought out. Certainly not as much of a drug head as Michael Irvin was in his day or maybe still is... I certainly didn't by his lame excuse for having drug paraphernalia in the car after a traffic stop a couple of years ago.. but since he's hall of fame cowboy, he gets a pass, right!!!!!

It's funny though, Matt Jones, didn't fail his nfl drug test before the drug arrest, so maybe he's cleaned up his act, has done what was required by the commish and since all charges were dropped against him, he isn't getting suspended by the league... he doesn't deserve a second chance, but a dog torturing, slaugtering killer gets a second chance..hmmmmm.

T.O was a cancer and locker room divider, but Ed Werder was lying, right, lol!!! Pac-rat has people around him getting shot at or killed, punches out his own security to keep him out of trouble, 13 incidents wth police envolved and Tank Johnson's a gun touting convict, who also spent time in jail, but Matt Jones can't get a second chance...I'll take a one time using recovering addict over a locker room cancer anyday....
