Cowboys have Kellen Moore starting @ QB without Dez Bryant....again. ... Not to mention without a SS in Barry Church and we usually always split with the DeadNoles.

The team won't deliberately try to lose. Their jobs are on the line and it just doesn't work that way in the NFL. However, we're starting our 4th-string quarterback and there's no Dez Bryant, so our chances aren't good.

Out of ingrained instinct from years of rooting for the Cowboys, I still can't help but root for them to win. I just don't think they will, and I'll take the high draft pick. I wish we could at least be spoilers, keep the Commanders out of the playoffs with a win, but that's not possible. Arg. Can a victory at least hurt their chances at home field or something?

No they're locked into the #4 seed with one home game against Seattle or the loser of the GB/Minnesota game.

i disagree. It is much better to have all options available than be limited by the 10 th pick or lower.

To me it's all about the "horses" you bring, and then how you use them. The team with the better players and better game plan is going to win most of the time... And it doesn't matter if they've lost the previous half-dozen.

Losing sucks no matter what. If you've played sports, you know how it feels. There's never any loss that feels good. Their psyche could be damaged if we beat them really badly. Of course, it's a bit of a moot point since that ain't happening. We're going to lose and we'll have that high draft pick. I'm rooting for a victory anyway. I can't root against the Cowboys. It's against my nature. Btw, I don't see how my view makes me a Ruchnaya Kumulyativnaya Granata (Russian anti-tank grenade). I hear the Russians make pretty good grenades, so I'll take that as a compliment.

Nah. The Skins will play it smart and we will be outcoached once more to commemorate yet another incredible year of ineptitude. We will run up the score on them and think we actually did something.
