I want kingsbury here calling plays. Don’t care if it’s HC or OC
Bro, did you see his playcalling in Zona? It was awful. He has zero feel for the game. He made his name with probably the greatest arm talent in generations (Mahomes) and cashed in. He's not an awful coach, but he is not good enough to be a playcaller for this team and not an upgrade to Moore.

no, i do not fire mcCarthy, he has built a great team under the watch of Jones, that has gotten to the playoffs most of his time here, with very good chances of winning.

all they need is a QB1 that can read and hit open receivers with accuracy 90% of the time, not 60%.

Fangio is certainty better than anyone else they could get to replace Quinn, who I feel is gone.

And I think that Payton is a better offensive mind than McCartgy is. He’s shown he can win both by passing and running the ball. McCarthy has not.

And Payton’s offenses ranked consistently higher than McCarthy’s as well.

Fangio to replace Quinn might be a wash
Frank Reich to replace Kellen Moore would be an upgrade

I would certainly take a ‘wash’ over the alternative. Left to his own devices, McCarthy chose Mike Nolan.

And he struggled for years in getting good defensive coordinators in Green Bay.

Frank Reich to replace Kellen Moore would be an upgrade
No argument there. But I think Payton would do a better job of running the offense.

Hire Payton ?

Hire Quinn ?

Has MM gotten us to his ceiling ?

- First off, since the Jones apparently seem insistent on it being Kellen's full control offense, we have not yet seen what McCarthy has to offer on the
offensive side of the ball. And i don't recall seeing Dak much on sidelines with McCarthy, than he is always with Kellen.

- Second, after the debacle with Payton influencing the organization to resigning " gimmick " QB Tayson Hill to a lucrative contract without even starting a season.
I'm just not sold or convince Payton is such a head and shoulders difference over McCarthy.
Just as i am not convinced McCarthy has had a chance to place his hand print on what he does best - Offense

- Also i think this organization is not convinced to dismantling the coaching staff with a start over overhaul.
i think they really like and believe in certain position coaches - ala Joe Philibin, Leon Lett, Al Harris, George Edwards and Joe Whitt.

- What exactly would Quinn give us as an HC, that McCarthy could not ?

- With Payton, there would have to come an agreement that he will not override Wil McClay in personnel evaluation and manuevers.
Report what Payton needs, and allow McClay to supply that need according to the values of his draft boards, as well dept workings in FA and trades.
Cannot afford those Tayson Hill type major setback manuevers here ...

Check out the records. Nearly identical. Not buying Payton is better.

I’m so shocked not more people recognize that his inconsistency is such a problem. Sick of the excuses and blaming Moore

That’s EXACTLY what I expect them to do.

And we have to prove we can trust that and win that.

Just as Niners prepared ahead and found a very suitable replacement for ex-DC Robert Saleh (now Jets HC)
....with promoting LB coach DeMeco Ryans to new DC .. and ironically he is likely to depart to HC offer.

Add Turpin's kickoff return. seem to have a td, but slowed up ran into the arms of a 49er..it almost appears that the game was rigged...
He had sooooooo much space..

The same thing popped into my head.. Like is this game rigged? I thought that same thing because how did he not score?!

He wouldn’t be on jet ride home MM the QB whisper who’s QB just got outplayed by a 7th round rookie drafted dead last, MM is a joke.

MM gets another year. KM needs to go. Quinn likely takes a HC position— but maybe JJ can sweet talk him (pay him big $$$) to stay on one more year and relieve MM if he can’t get it done next year.

Biggest issue is on offense. They need someone to bring some scheme innovation and help Dak take the next step, and get some talent at WR

Three matters will help change and improve that:
1) new very proven offensive minded HC (ala Payton)
2) allowing McCarthy to have top influence on Dak and the offense
3) promoting Schottenheimer to new OC
4) add significant upgrade in personnel talent - major upgrade at No.2 and No. 3 WR, ..backup RB..and LG

No offense, but I don’t really care what you buy. I’ve done the homework and Payton’s offenses were ranked higher.

And unlike McCarthy, Payton showed that he could alter his offense from pass to run and still have great success. McCarthy has never shown that.

I’ve looked deeper than merely win-loss records.

Turpin has to be totally Untouched on his returns to have a chance to hit a big splash runback, he's so small and weak, that he can easily be tripped up with one finger.

Also i keep hearing many here keep talking about sending him on fly and go deep routes- but he has to prove he can beat and out run jams and he's too physically weak and limited because of his
smallish size.
One mere thump touch... and boom he's down !.

I’d love to have Payton but Jerry will never pay him his worth.

All things considered I’m happy with the job McCarthy has done considering what we can get with Jerry Jones ego running the team.

It was just so bad with Garrett that anything that resembles actual NFL coaching is nice.

Plus a lot of these teams have QBs who can extend plays and inflate numbers by making plays outside the system. We don’t have that. We have a below avg passer trying to make plays from the pocket.
