You've seen what each QB gives us. So if you just want to win, you need to support the guy that was part of our three wins... Cooper Rush.

So he hasn't stepped up against quality opponents? You're wrong, he went toe to toe with Rodgers as a rookie, his defense let Rodgers convert a 3rd 21 to win, he played his *** off in a win vs Seattle, his 1 bad game came against San Fran last year. You're wrong as usual.

In a 7 year span I’d hope he has a game here or there. My gosh you guys set the bar low.

Nearly all of Dak’s rookie success was from teams fearing Zeke and the OL being a juggernaut. Duh.

Obviously I voted Rush as i never liked Dak as a QB since we drafted him he is a good person and great athlete but not worth that much money
Rush is not the answer but he can move us ahead as much as Dak if not more

They won't be missed. I am a Cowboys fan first and root for whoever is wearing a Star on their helmet. I will root for Dak when he comes back but I think his best days are behind him and besides his rookie season I don't think they were all that great.
I think we still need to invest in a QB going forward. We haven't drafted a QB in the first round since Troy Aikman.

So many fans are loud with their opinions, who don’t watch a drop of tape. Have never turned on all-22 in their lives. Don’t know Jack ish about scheme, just say if a play worked it’s good play calling and if it doesn’t work it’s bad play calling. Walking lemming idiots.

People who truly understand this game and take the time to breakdown film laugh at anyone who tries to say Rush is anywhere near as good as Dak. It’s sad to see how low iq a big part of our fanbase is.

I think landing a legit "elite" QB is very risky, riskier than any other position. Chances are you're more likely to pay someone $160,000,000.00 and hardly get your money's worth.

It is definitely think it is a gamble but sooner or later you have to bite the bullet and take a QB with a high draft pick. Dak is making $ 150,000,000.00 and I think his best days are behind him.

Agreed. I don’t know if Rush is the answer but let him play and we’ll see. I’ve seen enough to know Dak’s NOT the answer. I’ve followed him since HS. I haven’t researched much but next years draft class is supposed to have several top QBs. If our scouting dept. (excluding Jerry) sees one they think is the real deal, move up by whatever means necessary and get him. We’ve got several overrated players that need to move on. I know about the cap hit but it’s time for Dak and Zeke to go. Two mistakes by JJ for overpaying and fans pay the price. Package both of em with a first rounder maybe throw in a 2nd and let’s take our chance on a franchise QB. This is all just my humble opinion.

Put this in context.....Your starting QB for seven years, who hasn't been elite but pretty damn good, can lose his job to his backup after only four-five wins. As I have said before, there's not enough sampling to know if Coop can be a starter, let alone play at a high level and if we are being honest, it's not even close.
What happens when the defensive coordinator actually gameplan for him and he loses 2, 3 or 4 games? You go back to Dak, who you benched. Imagine your credibility with your other players knowing they could lose their job over a few games.
Now if Dak was out for a year and Coop led the team to the playoff and win or two, you have something.

I think a couple of posters said they didn't think Dak or Coop was the answer. I can agree with that but to bench Dak coz his backup has won 4-5 career games is silly.

I think this particular poll shows how Cowboy fans, in general, feel about Dak. What I'm taking from this is how much fan support he has lost over the last couple of years. I mean he always had a certain percentage of critics and strong supporters but it's the fans that were in the middle ( giving him X amount of time) he has lost.

Rush is winning, so you go with who is winning, not who gets paid the most. Do I think Rush can elevate this team above the really good teams? No, not yet. But I KNOW Dak can't, because we've already seen that he can't. Dak can't see the field, can't look after the first option, and sure as heck can't throw down the field like Rush. I'm legit baffled as to how anyone still thinks Dak is the best option for this team at this point, even if Cooper is just a bus driver. He's a better bus driver.

as stated that i see the same split BY FANS everywhere, the biggest difference is those that ARE NOT fans have Dak and its not close. these are fans living in the moment and most only see the W-Ls and not the much closer view of what the QBs are actually doing vs team and more importantly what the OC is dumpy on them in play calls,.
