Leaning no.

Good/great player, but bad body language and zero leadership qualities or visible intensity.

Too cool for school. Do not want this attitude to be emulated by Lamb who already disappears in games and fights drops due to concentration lapses.

Ive changed my tune on him this season

I wish he was that outgoing alpha WR ala Dez and Mike, but he has shown up every week with garbage at QB for the past two seasons.

Bring him back
Same here. At the beginning of the year I was in favor of moving on and re-signing Gallup in 2021, but with Gallup's inconsistency and Cooper having his most consistent - game to game - season yet in spite of having four different QBs at different points, I want no part of moving on shy of a team offering a haul (1st and a 3rd) for him...
He's only had three games all year below fifty yards receiving - and one of those was with the Nooch, lol.

...Coop is like that secret wild card you hold. He's not going beastmode all the time, but shows up great when he does. He complements good receivers.

I think that's a good analogy, kind of like a Sniper or Assassin. When he strikes, it's pretty deadly most of the time. It's either a First Down or a TD.

Yes, Gallup is a very solid #2 and Lamb asides from some acrobatic catches hasn't shown much else. Not sure if he was worth that pick.

Dude what?!

He's a rookie and #3 on the depth chart at one of the most difficult to transition positions in the NFL. He's had a fourth stringer and third stringer throw him passes behind a patchwork line. Even with all of that going against him he's posted 61 receptions for 742 yards. Those numbers rank 23rd and 28th in the league respectively... As the #3 wide out. He was unequivocally worth the pick and without injuries is probably a lock for OROTY.

I always seem to be in the middle and can see both sides but he’s a stud you can keep. 1) Live Coops route running...second to none in league. If he is targeted he is an All Pro. 2) Can be surly and disappear. I’ve heard many top DFW snd Twitter folk say he plays banged up but that is an issue. So that is my knock..is he healthy snd when unhealthy not a factor. 3) Since early season with Dak, Gallup has shown he can be taken out of a game. I really love Lamb but all 3 feed off of not being a true #1

So saying all that you have to keep the guy. I think when you have 3 studs someone disappears. You can’t key on everyone. We just need an offense that takes advantage of that

....he's basically, a 1st down play more then 50% of the time.

Our best offensive weapon outside of Dak. Yes I do.
9 people disagree which means 9 people didn’t look at his contract
Cooper will be here next year and that’s virtually a guarantee
2022 though may be a different story as lamb develops and Gallup comes up for a contract

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
This poll is one of several being created to show current fan opinions about Cowboys players returning for the 2021 season.

You can use whatever qualifiers you want in your posts, but the poll does not care about your qualifiers!
Yes. Duh.

I think the premise of the thread was that his contract is not in the way. As in, he would be traded.

Of course Dallas won't cut him.

I get the feeling people don’t like him because he doesn’t show a bunch of emotion. When they choose to get the ball to him, he’s an effective #1 WR. Keep him no brainer.

Our WRs are our strength. I would keep him and I would play Cedric more!!!
they cant play cedric or noah more lol, because as a rule cooper gets the majority of targets, then lamb, then dalton S. then gallup, and the others get the crumbs.
If they gave the most targets to noah or cedrik, coach jerry would give them a what for beatdown !! lol
Even if those 2 were clearly the best they would not get more targets.
The only way is if they start going for td's every game and even then that might get shut down not rewarded, it is crazy isnt it?

I said yes to keep amari, he is good, we have a lot invested in him, and he has been more consistent this season. No matter who the qb is.
