:lmao2:at me being a stan for sticking by the QB who has us at 11-2. Do you hear how absurd you sound? You're criticizing me for supporting a QB who has us in the #1 seed spot and the best record in the NFL.

No, I'm criticizing you for failing to realize that no matter how many laughing emoji's you post that this has become an actual debatable issue. We are 11-2 as a team. Dak isn't 11-2. The Dallas Cowboys are 11-2. Dak has been the beneficiary of a weak schedule, a dominant o line and running game; he's been a game manager for us and he's done his job well. However, this isn't about regular season records and accolades, this is about who gives us the best shot in the post-season, when record slates are wiped clean. The last month, the quality of Dak's play has been deteriorating... coincidentally as the stakes are being raised higher and he is playing higher quality teams. Guess what kind of teams we are going to be playing in the playoffs? Not the niners or the browns, that's for sure.

I want to win a SB this year. Not next year. Not the year after that. This year. Our seasoned all-pro QB vet gives us the best chance at that, and that is my opinion. You are free to feel that Dak is better. But to act like this isn't even debatable? Yeah right.

Because Dak is horrible versus the defenses and schemes we are going to play in the post-season, that's why. We will be one and done with Dak as our starting QB in the playoffs; mark my words. Feel free to save this post. I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong.

Romo could do no better at this time in his career, but we'll never know.....

Seasoned? I'm a Romo fan, but enough is enough. The guy hasn't played a meaningful game in over 2 years. He's taken one hard hit in that time and it broke his back. Romo is not the Romo of old, unless you're talking age. He's a perfect backup, at the right price, but his starter days are over, at least here.....

So, let's play him and find out.

If it was up to me, we would win the TB game with Dak, Giants would lose and then we would start Romo against DET and go back with Dak in PHI.

If I am having Romo start and I wouldn't mind getting him ready just in case...I would rather have him start at home than in cold Philly.

Well, knowing Jerry, you may get your wish.....
You mean the same Jerry Jones, who was seemingly 100% behind Prescott being named as the permanent quarterback? I think some coaches' opinions should be considered in conjunction with Jones's if a change occurs. They do have *some* say in roster decisions too.

But is it fair to Romo to expect that much in one game? I don't care how good he looks in practice, real game time is a different animal, esp when you haven't played in over 2 years.....

You'd think so anyway

Unless Dak gets hurt, he's the QB for the rest of the year.

The Never-Dakers need to move on already.

At least this will all end in the off-season when Romo moves on...

I don't have anything against Dak and I wish him to succeed (I'm a Cowboys fan first and foremost). I just feel Romo is the better option for the rest of the year. It's not that we are "Never-Dakers" but what is so wrong in having a differing opinion?

So now it's about the team? Romosexuals are quick to blame the team when we lose then give Romo all the credit when we win. You are a gottdamn shame for using ESPN talking points against Dak. You want a Super Bowl? You roll with Dak, not the guy who has had a decade to bring us a Super Bowl but failed. Now you expect us to believe he will do it at 36 yrs old after playing 3 games in 2 years? Who are you trying to fool? This is Dak's team, deal with it.

Getting sick of hearing that is "just one week".. Dak has been poor for the last month... you could probably even go back to the Pitt game. Dak was poor for 3 qtrs and then got superhot for the 4th and we came out for a win. Dak was a pure game manager against the Ravens who had an overrated D that fell apart in the second half. Dak was poor against Washington and won because Zeke gashed them and they loaded up the box so much that even TWill could get seperation. Dak was dismal against the Vikes and they didn't even bother trying to do anything other than stop the run and underneath passes. Giants took the same philosophy and Dak stunk it up again.

So 5 games of declining play with teams added to the book on how to stop Cowboys Offense and some people still haven't seen enough? I'm not saying the loss is all on Dak.. but if you can't see that teams are now grinding us to a halt because they don't fear the pass then I feel sorry for you. We called more pass plays because of game situation AND because the Giants D were giving us man on man coverage which usually leads to throws.. Dak just didn't make many good ones.

I kinda understood the rolling with the hot hand theory.. but the hand has been getting colder and colder by the week and I'm just not sure what we are waiting for. Surely at some point you have to give Romo a chance. How you let a All-Pro QB sit on the pine and not even give him 1st team reps is beyond me.. we didn't let him even compete for his job ffs. That was just wrong imho. If they battle it out and Dak wins.. then so be it but right now we have no idea what Tony could bring to the table.. none at all. Maybe he is past it.. maybe he breaks down.. or maybe he goes back to being the guy that we all thought was going to lead us to glory this season.

All I know is that teams now have the book on Dak and he is looking more and more like a Foles/RGIII than a Brady.

Nothing wrong with a differing opinion I just don't understand how anyone can think that a guy who basically hasn't played in two years is going to step right in. IMO, if Dak doesn't get it done for us this year NOBODY is going to get it done and we screwed.

ESPN, NFCE Foes, Dak-haters....only ones who have made that "weak schedule" argument. You're the first "Cowboys fan" I've heard use that talking point. Shameful...

So if the rookie doesn't look like Tom Brady he should be benched?

I hope you guys have the same expectations for yourselves that you have for Dak.

So far, 40% of the fan base wants Romo the starter for Tampa.

I think Dak's honeymoon is officially over. If we lose to Tampa, I expect this percentage to increase dramatically.
