Everyone says Tony looks great in practice. I don't know what that has to do with taking a hit and staying healthy. That's the major concern.
If this discussion involved a 29-year-old Romo who was coming back from an ACL with no other major injuries, then it's a different discussion with me, and I assume many others who stand by Dak.
But Tony is 36. He has had two back injuries. He was out for a good portion of the season last year, and then when he came back, he got injured again.
Then he heals and plays a pre-season game, and instead of getting rid of the ball, he tries to run and gets tackled and hurts his back AGAIN!
Unfortunately, your body loses its ability to rebound from injury proportionate to your age. The older you get, the longer it takes you to heal. This is science.
