I said I don't care. Mainly because when they have a cheap QB they still don't give him the help he needs and also I don't think any QB can overcome the teams weakest link, Jerry.

No. If they do, then I’m basically done following them til jerry dies and simple dak is gone.

Are you just happy making the playoffs, but crashing out after a game or two best case scenario? If yes, Dakota is your guy, I guess.
Would you extend this QB?

You can say that all day. But everyone knows the Cowboys will always catch hell because everyone hates "America's Team". The talking heads, other coaches and players. Whatever. The fact is this - Dak is absolutely a top 10 QB. I mean just look at his stats for last year. And we've already determined that the GB game was a sh!tshow by the entire team - not just Dak. So he is a "tier 2" QB? You know as well as I do that he is not. Speaking of polls - did you see the poll this week from NFL players saying Josh Allen is the most overrated QB in the league. That's all you need as evidence about the validity of polls.

There are teams out there that would absolutely pay Dak 60 million a year and would have a drunk fest celebrating that deal. So we will see what Jerry wants to do when the time comes. Again, the question I ask and the one no one can answer. If you let Dak walk, who in the ever living hell do you bring in that gives you a better chance at success? Regardless of whether you can bring someone in for 20 million less a year and spend that money elsewhere. Who? If you look closely, the options will scare the sh!t out of you.
30 of 32 NFL HC's put him in Tier 2. Soooo, they're wrong and you're right?

I’ve seen 8 yrs of sample . Time to try a different formula. That goes for the Coaches box as well . I’ve never seen a more unprepared team then lined up against GB .

Who? Me? No, I wouldn't, but I care about winning in the playoffs, not just being "relevant."

Not saying there will be a new GM or Jerry will be leaving. Just saying that is where the primary problem lays by a mile - not with Prescott as your QB.
It's likely to be a good bet that the Dallas FO will sign Prescott, regardless of what discriminating fans happen to think. Jerry and Stephen aren't in line to win a Super Bowl now, and they realize it. They'll continue serving their team's brand and making money in the process. That's just how they roll.

Whether or not they see fit to draft a QB in the draft next year remains to be seen at that time. In the meantime, making $$$ is their primary goal.
They seem ready and willing to retain Trey Lance as a backup and hoping he develops. Right now, it seems to be a longshot, however.
