They’ll be a large majority of this fan base that will be pulling against Dak and the team this season. All the Dak haters are going to hope and pray that he plays poorly, so the Cowboys don’t re-sign him. I’ve already seen posts on the board with fans saying they’re going to be pulling against Dak and the team so he’s not back next year. Everyone fears if he plays well the Joneses won’t be able to resist paying him what he wants. The surest way for Dak to be gone is for him to play poorly and the team lose. Every time Dak plays great and the team wins it’s going to be a huge blow to the Dak haters. Don’t know how any Cowboys fan could enjoy a season, pulling against their QB and the team.

Exactly...............the only time I ever want the Cowboys (or any of the pro teams I follow) to lose, is if they are already eliminated from the playoffs and losing games helps their draft slot.

Outside of that, wishing the team to lose so a certain player will not be resigned or the head coach will get fired is just ridiculous, even when Garrett was here, I never wished the team to lose before they were out of playoff contention.

That is just not how Beast rolls.

If you want to keep up this ridiculous conspiracy because you can't win the pay Dak debate, then I can turn it around on you.

YOU want Dak to struggle all season so that you can accuse the rest of us of being haters when we say "told you so".

He's admitted he's afraid of life without Dak. If he's that scared he should follow Dak to his next team and join that teams board. That way he will have a new group of people to bash for not thinking Dak is the best QB the universe has ever seen.

Incorrect. There are only a small number of Dak lover/haters. They seem to be more as they spat constantly and get in the way of real discussion. That small number is what you are referring to.

Just because the majority of the fan base no longer believes in Dak, it does not follow that they'll be rooting against him.

Around these parts if you're not a Dak fan who puts him on the highest pedestal that somehow makes you football stupid. I'm not sure how anyone could come to that conclusion, but it comes across as juvenile. It's like they ran out of any meaningful ways to debate so they resort to calling you stupid.

Gotta love this place sometimes. It's more entertaining than the games on the field.

Once again, only by the small number of Dak lovers. If you haven't noticed, most good posters stay out of the Dakspew. Maybe make a comment now and then, but the Dakspew is just lame, and has gone on so long neither side has anything of merit to actually say, so they just spew the same ol' crapp.

Stay away from the Dakspatters, and you'll quickly see that this is a great board and only made less so but the constant bombardment of Dakspew by the few.

This

I hope Dak wins a Superbowl this year and I hafta listen to rambo2 and AC telling me to eat crow ......... but I have lost all faith in Dak and do not think we have a 1% chance as long as him and Jerry are here.

Jerry is so bad at team building that he needs a hall of fame QB to carry his team ......... Jerry (and his fans) think team building is just acquiring talent, not the array of talent to certain positions on the team....... which shows they have no idea what team building is.

I have also lost faith in Dak. But, I will be rooting hard for him to bring my faith back on line. And THAT is what the large majority is doing.

For Bog's sake, I wish these Dakspatters would frickin' quit putting the spew of a few on all of us. Disgusting.

It's good advice to follow. During all the Romo spats back in the day I was a fence sitter, not choosing one side or another. It would be best to consider hopping back on the fence and let everyone else fight that battle.

Simplified much, eh? What's your plan to replace a QB considered league wide to be a top 10 player at the position? Let's hear your plan, oh great and wise genius of a GM you are? Oh and they're not going to pay him $70 million dollars. Don't try to "amplify" your ridiculous point with utter bull doodoo.
Draft one in the offseason (I would've done this at least once in the last two offseasons), and let him compete with Lance/Rush for the job. If they all fail, do it again every couple of seasons till we find the next guy. Meanwhile, build a dominate defense and run game with the money you aren't spending at QB.

That is not accurate.
Minimum 7 games it absolutely is true, tied with Alex Smith and Billy Kilmer at 2-5. Take away the 7 game qualifier and you have a bunch of guys that wouldn't be considered for anywhere near the kind of money Dak is demanding, and Kirk Cousins. Would you give Kirk Cousins record money? The Falcons were stupid for giving him what they did, but that's just my opinion.

The fact that Dak is even in this conversation is a massive red flag, considering the amount of money he's looking for.

Ok, but you didn't mention the minimum. I was looking at it yesterday and noticed Cousins had the worst record for active QBs.

Which is why they usually put a minimum on these types of stats.

If you're 0-1 in the playoffs, you're tied for "worst record in NFL history ". But it's hard to judge off a 1 Game sample

When you're there several times and keep falling woefully short, it's officially a pattern. And a concerning one at that

I was using the same statistic we've been hearing all offseason that most are familiar with. Had it not been common knowledge, I would've specified.
