What I posted is fact and it’s obvious it hit home. It certainly ruffled your feathers. You’re one of the many that want Dak to struggle and the team to fail because of it, so the Joneses will move on from him. You figure if he fails and the team ends up with a poor record, he’ll be allowed to walk in free agency and we can use a high draft pick to try and replace him. No one has this ridiculous fanbase figured out like I do.

Who on here wants Dak to struggle so Jerry moves on from him? I thin the so called haters on here do not wish for him to play poorly, but expect the same results we have had in the last 8 years. Hence, it's time to move on from him. At this stage Jerry will have zero say if Dak walks or not, it will be entirely up to Dak. Does anybody really feel that if our QB balls out and puts up his best season ever (wins a ring, or falls short again) that Jerry will have the upper hand at negotiations? Jerry has made it clear he doesn't think Dak is worth the investment, and Dak feels that he is. In the end, one will be right and one will be wrong. Either way, Dak is betting on himself and I would be stunned if he winds up back in Dallas after this year as it won't be where the money is at

I’m certainly not going to call out individual posters, but there’s plenty that want him to struggle so he isn’t re-signed. There’s a lot of fans out there that know I’m telling it like it is. The majority of the fanbase doesn’t want to see him get paid 60+ million dollars per. The better he plays and the more success we have, the more likelihood the Joneses will cave and pay him what he wants. If you haven’t realized there’s a huge Dak hate agenda going on and it’s been going on for years. The fact that a lot of fans expect the same failures in the playoffs with him is the reason they want him to play poorly so he isn’t extended.

If Jerry thought he is worth the money he is asking for, the Dak deal would have been done months ago. Are you that naive, or that much of a pom pom waver to not see it? I’ve been told by a number of fans that they would rather see the Cowboys suffer a bad year than go one and done in the playoffs again. They see no difference in missing the playoffs and making the playoffs, if the team is going to suffer another early exit. They figure if Dak plays poorly, and we stink, resulting in a high draft pick, the Joneses will move on from Dak and use the high pick on a QB. Jerry hasn’t come close to making it clear that Dak isn’t worth the investment. Where the heck are you getting that BS from?
What you posted was bona fide BS because you said Jerry made it clear that Dak isn’t worth the investment. No way did he even come close to saying that. The reason the deal isn’t done is because Dak is looking to reset the market and has a ton of leverage where he could make even more money in free agency. It took Jerry the entire training camp to re-sign CeeDee. He had a lot of trouble extending Dak the first time. He ended up having to franchise tag him twice, so you’re reading way too much into why he hasn’t been extended yet. There’s always a possibility that Jerry wants to see one more year with Dak before he extends him, but that would be a huge gamble.
I never explicitly said anything but actions speak louder than his words right now. Dak has a number that he thinks he's worth and you admit Jerry might want to see more before he caves. Gamble or not it's in play. If this is the case then my point is proven. Jerry's even said as much the last seversl days. He's in no rush and it's a prove it year. Even if Dak proves it there's no guarantee Jerry will offer the most. It's all out there for you to see but you first must open your eyes and realize it. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like you are because you can't read between the lines our owner is getting at...

Yep. The motives attributed to us are false and self serving of those who realize they cannot justify paying Dak all time money for all time worst playoff results.
