Does anyone else think different and better coaching could help Dak?

Pass/INT ratio is not a good way to judge football IQ. It's merely one factor.
Sure but again trying to judge football or any job IQ when your not involved in what the plan is would be a guess at best.

Why are you so sure Payton will save the day?

Besides the Cowboys would have to give up Draft Capital . . . If they are willing to part with picks why not package them to move up and draft a QB . . .

Coaching is not the Problem QB play is . . . If we are using draft capital why not invest in a QB
I am not sure Payton can save the day, but we know what we have with KM and Dak together. I also think MM is more of an enabler than Payton is, and I think Dak could benefit from some tougher love.

I suggest Payton because that would mean Jerruh giving up control of the roster and sideline/locker room, and at this point (30 years) we need to do something desperate to change this same old song and dance?

I would be shocked to my soul if JJ gave up any power, its right there with cutting Dak when i am handing out flags to fly behind the Pigs i just bought

I do think Garret ruined Dak and Moore but I also think Dak is at peak and probably like and old dog that would be hard to train.

I'd think about it if his cap hit allowed to load up the roster. But...

Unless you pull off the sales job of all sales job's how would you even begin trading Dak, again he has trade value but not with that contract. They have one option unless fire sale is on the table, you change your scheme to help this defense and get Dak back into RPO/PA reads and run the ball, they can accomplish this through a draft and be good with this D...Will it be KM or another OC is the only question.
Eat half of the contract

I won't be holding my breath that JJ gives up control, but I can dream and hope. Been a die hard fan since 1975. This is just depressing, watching that old fool Jerruh flapping his gums while I try to decipher *** he is trying to say.

I've given up buying any Cowboy memorabilia in the past 15 years. I think if all fans stopped and gave up their season tickets then maybe, just maybe, Jerry would listen. As it it I think he wants to win, but once he's over the shock of the latest heartbreaking loss he is perfectly happy on his yacht and raking in the dough to pad the billions he already has

Yeah thats the problem you have very little options and really the only legit one is changing the scheme and adding some draft pieces and try to help this defense using Dak diferently in a new offensive scheme...thats about your only route the next 2 years. This defense can win just have to change what the offense is trying to do.

I dont think he would listen even then its his toy and he has been very vocal about the fact he will do with it as he pleases.

you could very well be right, but if Jerry World was 1/2 empty for those 8 home games, I think even JJ would start to get the message. Fans need to start demanding better. I love 12-5 and a playoff berth, but I'd take a couple of years of bottom dwelling if that meant we could be truly competing for a SB after a couple of years of finishing 4th in the division.

So does Dak
Here you go. . . . i will try to explain it. . . so even you can understand.

Hey Dak let me see your resume . . . #1 offense? . . . Wow . . . I do not believe it . . . Who was your offensive Coordinator? . . . Bill Walsh.

Hey Kellen let me see your resume . . . #1 offense? . . . With the Cowboys? . . . And Dak was your QB? . . . What? . . I do not believe it . . .

Maybe, eating half of it could you compete the next 2 years or are we washing this defense? Thats the thing, I dont see a way to not waste this defense while moving on from Dak now. In a normal Franchise thats fine they would just build another D, but this GM it took 15 years, are we waiting another 15 because thats gonna suck.

I would be for a rebuild if i thought they would, Im serious i have huge reservations that we will waste this D and wait another 15 years to see a good one.
