In the 10 yard sprint and the 40 yard sprint? What is his maximum running speed on longer runs?

I can't say.
I was timing him but my phone battery died before he finished the 40.

Most RBs have a short effective lifespan, especially if they take or seek out contact.

Zeke dropped off abruptly after his phenomenal rookie reason, and slowly slid downhill thereafter. Got lots more mileage on that slow slide downhill. I think a few years in he had the most mileage of any back in his year or later.

Zeke is 40th All Time rushing yardage, and in not so many seasons. No shame in being done when you're 40th in career yardage.

Getting cut had to be a wakeup call.

It all depends on how he trained this off-season.

They need to limit his carries.

Young in years but not in carries.
40th all time rushing yards and attempts.
Not counting receptions.
Not counting college.
Not counting blocking dlinemen.

It's not just how hard Zeke trains in the offseason.

He's had more than a career of physical abuse. He may be legitimately done, and he's looked it for a while.

Emmitt was never fast. However, he had great balance and was slithery and could make folks miss. No one ever misses hitting Zeke now. It isn't speed, its reflexes or lack there of. Still a place for him with good blocking, but he no longer has what little moves he had.

In the NFL, there are really only two speeds: Fast and not fast. At this point in his career Zeke is in the not fast category.

He will not get the break away long TD runs. But then again, how many do you really see from any RB? Not as many as some think they do.
However we still need that RB with speed and power.

Zek is a professional RB, not the fans on this site.
I think Zek is possibly the slowest RB in the NFL.

This is so dumb. I doubt that very much.
I am not saying he is fast, but he is not as slow as the hate crowd makes him out to be.
