Does Jeremiah know what he's talking about? Claims Romo or Garappolo headed to Bears

The Cowboys are looking to trade Romo so obviously they would give permission to negotiate. I'm already on record saying he'll most likely be released than traded. I would rather move up 3 spots and get a defensive player, something the Texans could afford to give up with them having the #1 defense last season. They're getting a player who can play and I want a player who's also proven. A draft pick is a roll of the dice whether it be a 3rd or a 5th.
No, you are looking for the Cowboys to trade Romo. Jerry has made no moves to let teams know he is on the trading block. He would be wise to listen to all reasonable offers but he's not going out of his way to end Romo's time in Dallas as of yet.

I have the cojones to put what I think about future events in writing and you don't. It's as simple as that. I am right as often as anyone else which is never 100%. You like to harp on the times I have been wrong like you have stock invested in it. It's actually kind of stalker type creepy. Maybe you think the way you keep up with me should be flattering but it's not. It's actually quit alarming.

Your cojones have taken a real beating. lol I've never seen you right about anything and if you have been provide an "actual quote" from you that can be clicked on and taken to your original post. You go out on some ridiculously slim limbs that have no logic behind them. Continuing to say that Greg Hardy would show up in camp 2 weeks after camp started was hilarious. Even you admitted you make some crazy predictions. Some of your calls have no rhyme or reason.

The Cowboys are looking to trade him and that's been reported by NFL insiders. Try doing some reading so you have a clue as to what's going on.

No. I never said that the Cowboys would get a 4th rd pick. I said that I thought they had a good chance of getting better then a 5th in compensation and after that, I acknowledged that that may not be accurate, after another poster pointed out that the Cowboys would not be eligible for compensation.

This is what you said.

If he walks and signs elsewhere, then you could get a 4th or better for him in compensitory picks.

Hearsay is never official but you run with it like the best of them.

Does Jeremiah know what he's talking about? I doubt it.

I doubt anyone, including Tony, knows what will transpire. Until something does, I don't care anymore.

The Commanders are now in play big time. Cousins might be headed to San Francisco.

Appears Jerry is going to do what's best for Romo in this situation.

Then that is a mistake if it means Jerry leaves draft picks on the table just to cut Romo and make him feel good.

It's being reported by practically everyone close to the situation who gets paid to be an NFL insider.

And KJJ is worried about trading him to the Texans and the negative PR from that. LOL.

Gonna be awesome when we cut him and he signs with Washington.

What are you debating? I think it's pretty well established the Cowboys will and have likely been putting feelers out as to what they might get for Romo.

I think people are in la la land if they think the first option for Jerry is have him compete for the starting job. Not even Jerry is that dumb.

Jerry has a fondness for Romo and he's not going to accept a crappy draft pick that would put him in a bad situation. Besides if Romo doesn't approve of the team that he's being traded to, he'll retire. He has leverage with several TV opportunities.

So that's your prediction he'll sign with Washington? Not happening! That rumor just started up and you bought right into it. lol

I never said that Romo would play until he's 40 and the contract wasn't an issue because he was re-signed something you said wouldn't be possible. You were so insistent that he couldn't be re-signed due to our cap that you wanted me to figure out how we could possibly re-sign him and keep him under the cap. lol You were worried it would cost us several players trying to re-sign him. Here's the thread we argued in.

Oh, you absolutely did when we were discussing resigning him. This link, what is that supposed to prove? That is a discussion about trading him for a number 1 pick. The discussion was about signing all of our FAs and not just Romo. You like to tell half the story don't you?

The truth of this is that you, nor anybody, who says they know what will happen actually knows. You want to argue that you do? That's fine with me but it's not true and everybody knows it. That's why you are having so much trouble in this thread. Everybody knows that nobody knows.

Go ahead, knock yourself out but nobody knows and everybody knows it. You could be right or you could be wrong. That's the point.

So you think teams would go through the trouble of negotiating a contract with Romo and agreeing to terms...but then not want to trade until Draft Day? While on the clock? Come on man.

This discussion today like practically all our discussions started with YOU. I RARELY initiate discussions with you because I don't take your seriously. It all starts with YOU. I responded to another poster and you replied to ME (comment below) and that's what got us going back and forth today. The only one being creepy is you, all you do is stalk other posters.

IMO, he's not getting released. If he is still on the Cowboy's roster after the draft, we can most likely look forward to him competing with Dak for the starting role.

Team Chemistry maybe. If you allow him to walk, you probably get better compensation then a 5th rd pick in next years draft. If he walks and signs elsewhere, then you could get a 4th or better for him in compensitory picks.
If he goes elsewhere, it is a straight release/cut, no compensatory picks apply.

So you either get no value or you trade him for an active pick. That's it.

Half the story? Our entire discussion on Romo was in that thread. Show me a post where I said he would play until he's 40? I've already proven you don't get your facts straight. You just claimed you didn't say we could get a 4th round comp pick for Romo when you did say that and I provided your quote.

And if he retires, then so be it. But letting him walk for nothing is moronic. It just is.
