I would rather move up 3 spots and get a defensive player, something the Texans could afford to give up with them having the #1 defense last season. No. I never said that the Cowboys would get a 4th rd pick. I said that I thought they had a good chance of getting better then a 5th in compensation and after that, I acknowledged that that may not be accurate, after another poster pointed out that the Cowboys would not be eligible for compensation.

I never said that Romo would play until he's 40 and the contract wasn't an issue because he was re-signed something you said wouldn't be possible. So you think teams would go through the trouble of negotiating a contract with Romo and agreeing to terms...but then not want to trade until Draft Day? While on the clock? Come on man.

This discussion today like practically all our discussions started with YOU. I RARELY initiate discussions with you because I don't take your seriously. It all starts with YOU. IMO, he's not getting released. If he is still on the Cowboy's roster after the draft, we can most likely look forward to him competing with Dak for the starting role.
