Does Jeremiah know what he's talking about? Claims Romo or Garappolo headed to Bears

I don't believe he'll end up anywhere for a 5th round pick.

OK, so you don't believe he will end up anywhere for a 5th round pick. OK.

Nobody know, for sure, where he will end up or for what price but if that's what you want to hang your hat on, that's fine with me. However, that doesn't mean it's accurate. It's a guess, just like everybody else's guess on the subject.

How about you stick to this conversation here and not the one from 5 years ago. What are you arguing?

I'm just pointing to our debating history together and 4 years ago you ended up being wrong. I'm as positive now about Romo not being back with the Cowboys next season as I was about him being re-signed after the 2012 season. It's obvious what I'm arguing.

You denied saying we could get a 4th round pick in compensation for him, I posted your quotes. It's time we move on from this. We're not going to agree on anything else so let's agree on that.

No, I denied saying we Would Get a 4th.

I don't believe he'll end up anywhere for just a 5th round pick. That's a slap in our face and in Romo's face. Jerry isn't going to get screwed like that giving up a stating caliber QB who's better than half the starting QBs in the league for a measly 5th round pick. If Romo can stay healthy someone is going to end up with an excellent starting QB.

It's pretty clear. You tell half the story and then post threads from years ago that support your version of the story without actually telling the who story. While you are pointing this out, please be sure to point out that simple reality as well.

You will not admit it but the truth is that the discussion in the link you posted was more about signing all the players who were up for contract while still being able to afford the huge contract for Tony. I said it could not be done and guess what, I was right. Now, saying I was right means absolutely nothing to me from a discussion from 5 years ago. I only say it because it's the truth. What you posted is not relevant to this discussion, our history or that link. They are half truths. It's how you roll.

Anybody who has ever had discussions with you knows how you post. It's not a big secret.

No, it's a slap in your face. You have no idea what the team thinks and you certainly don't speak for many posters out there who disagree. This entire waste of internet space is about you, not about anybody else.

But instead he's just going to cut a starting caliber QB who's better than half the starting QBs in the league and get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR HIM, and that would be a good move?

It's no slap in my face because there's not a poster on this board who has a better pulse on the team than I do and what's likely to happen and my posting history backs it up. Some of you try and make it about me. I provide QUOTES and some of you don't.

LOL.

This might be the most awesome post in a thread of awesomely awesome posts.

Oh and technically, you provided NO QUOTES that support your claim that Jones will end up cutting Romo. What you provided was a random report with NO QUOTES suggesting that Romo thinks he might be cut.

If it saves us money on the cap to help us sign other players it is a good move. It's a bad move having a backup QB making $14M. We all want to get something for Romo but it isn't going to be easy due to his age and injury history.

The cap savings is the same if he cuts him or trades him prior to June 1. So again, it's better to cut Romo, a starting caliber QB, instead of getting something, anything for him?

Stop trying to stir things up and move on before I stop wasting anymore time with you. I don't need any quotes supporting my claims that Romo won't be with the Cowboys next season, there's all kinds of evidence to support he won't. If you want to ignore all of it go ahead.

He loves to lock people into an all or nothing proposition when that is not what was said and its annoying **

I said Tony will have a dozen suitors and DAL will get at least a 1st in trade...said it months ago and I believe it ....... it is a prediction.....I am not saying there are no other possible outcomes......it is just my prediction

KJJ is obsessed with me being wrong about my prediction for some reason.....you don't 'eat crow' when you get something wrong.......you eat crow when you throw it in the other guy's face over and over....KJJ can't see the difference

It depends on what it costs to get a good backup and the availability of those guys. We are really only saving 5.1 I guess so really, it's a relative thing.

What are you babbling about?

Nowhere in this entire thread have I suggested once that I think Romo will be a Cowboy in 2017 nor do I disagree with the premise that he's likely gone at this point.

What I have disagreed with is the notion that cutting him is better than trading him. I've also disagreed with the notion that because there was one report that rumored Romo thinks he might be cut that it means for certainty that Jones will cut Romo before trading him for a middling return.

I'm not saying it's going to happen but you can't rule anything out. A lot of things are floating around, even Romo ending up in Washington which sounds pretty ridiculous but that's where we're at with this.
That's why i've used words like unlikely and not impossible.

You are not getting a first round pick for him. ;)

It's better to get something for him but if we can't we have to release him and all the articles that have been posted explain why. You're just trying to waste time.
