Zero sense going on with this bunch of words cobbled together. Once again, someone trying in vain to make a point only ends up contradicting themselves. All the while apparently not realizing it...

Take your agenda somewhere else. You're like a broken record.

And nobody has claimed otherwise. And yet you continue to try to play this card at each and every turn when you don't have a sound, rational point. Give it a rest already. It sounds as ridiculous now as the other 500 times you've said it.

Now it's really funny that the same people on this board keep making the same quotes about how the team should operate, or how bad Jerry is or how the team should do this or that and the team never does it. I keep reminding these same people that Jerry operates to his own drummer and you call me out. You make the same cases 20 times a day and I could say to you how ridiculous you sound as it's not now nor never going to happen. I'll give it a rest if you and visionary give it a rest.

Sorry if the facts hurt, but you bring it on yourself with that stuff.

I provide facts while you invent things to try and create arguments. This is a contradiction and that's a contradiction and that's another contradiction. That's all you have.

I'm stating my opinion. Feel free to do the same thing. Express your own opinion. Just spare us the same, tired crap about "Jerry's going to do whatever he wants, he's a billionaire ya know". That's when we know you've run out of points to discuss.

It's like you waving the white flag and nobody needs to read it anymore. Nobody's debating whether or not Jerry Jones will turn things over to a fan vote.

When that's all you have, that's all you have. And that's all you have. Maybe you don't think about these things before you type them?

Not "mad" about anything. But I'm mature enough to resign myself to the fact that he's leaving the team. If anybody sounds butthurt around here, it's the one who "can't quit him".

I could say that all of your opinions are "crap" but, you have to admit that I spout "truth" not just opinion. You and others just don't want to accept the "truth". I've read your opinions so many times that I know absolutely what your going to say before I read the words. Geez, let's just agree to disagree and keep moving... You know you can put me on avoid.

So I'm consistant, then?

Geez, let's just agree to disagree and keep moving... You know you can put me on avoid.

Why would I do that? I enjoy your posts and our conversations. Until you play the tired "well Jerry will just do whatever he wants, he's a billionaire ya know" card again. If there was a way to selectively Ignore that, sign me up!

That's all you have because it's an agenda. My posts are well thought out and thorough and you're just one of the many who likes following me around looking for something you can twist into creating an argument. My track record speaks for itself from my Greg Hardy/Randy Gregory debates to my Dak vs Romo debates and how that situation would play out, to how we were going to go one and done in the playoffs. I know what I'm talking about and many of you don't have no clue.

You're right, it does "speak for itself" and it says "jibberish".

"There's no way Jerry Jones would trade Romo to Houston. He'd just cut him."

And then watch him go to Houston. Great 'plan' there. So, worry about "looking bad" while ultimately looking worse. Refuse to trade Romo because you're worried that he might win in Houston, but cut him - get nothing - and then go watch him win in Houston.

You should really read over your words before you hit 'Post Reply'.

He's not wrong.

If the Texans had a fair deal on the table for Romo and it was better than any other offer on the table from other teams, and Jones turned it down because he's afraid fans might be upset that he traded Romo to them and they might win a SB, then that might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen from Jones.

Like, let's say the Texans offer their 2nd rounder this year and a 3rd rounder next year and that was the best deal on the table. Turning it down to take a lower deal or worse, just cut him, would be beyond idiotic.

Can you imagine that? They'd be within striking distance of Myles Garrett with one move! A man can dream...

I could almost see it happening with a package, something like Romo, Collins and a #3 for the Bears pick.

Also teams could overpay for QBs like they did last year, you could kinda sorta see a scenario where Garrett drops to #3 because teams jumped up to get QBs. Last year Goff and Wentz were not the top players in the draft but they went first and second.

Which is why I can never understand why you're so hung up on passer ratings. lol
Passer rating correlates with winning. For example, from 2007-12 when Schaub had a 93.3 passer rating, his teams were 46-36. If you "examine his entire career," it leaves you with the impression that Schaub would be a great FA addition.

Since then, he's only started 10 games, has a passer rating of 71.3, and his teams are 3-7.

That's why it's misleading to examine the entire career. Because what somebody did 5 years ago makes no difference. Nobody cares what Romo did in cold weather in 2012 or earlier.

Giving Romo to Houston via a trade is a lot different than him ending up there on his own. If you can't see that, that's your problem. If he ends in Houston on his own by working out a deal with the Texans after being released that's different than Jerry arranging for him to play in Houston via a trade. Romo is going to end up playing for another team next season whether it be a trade or him being released. We have a deadline we have to meet if we're going to get any cap relief so if we can't trade Romo he has to be released by June 1-2. Someone should take your "replay" feature away.
