The catch last week was obviously one of the best we’ve ever seen and he deserves props for that.
However, aside from that catch, how many jaw dropping/OMG plays have we seen him make this year?
He’s not really a huge leaper like Dez. He’s not a blazing WR like some others. His hands aren’t special based on all the drops.
He has top level agility which helps him on Punt Returns and get open in the slot. But even though he’s put up great numbers and can be a #1 WR on a team, I have been a little disappointed by the lack of highlight reel type plays from him.
If he were a #1 and not much else around him, like when Cooper came in 2018, would he dominate?
This is what happens when back-up QB Andy Dalton is forced into starting more than 2-3 games. Suddenly our 1st Round pick talents are being questioned??The catch last week was obviously one of the best we’ve ever seen and he deserves props for that.

At this point, Id be willing to trade Gallup in the offseason if we can get solid value. His numbers are down from last season, but I don't think that would hurt his value much. Its a thin draft at WR after the LSU and Bama boys. All should go top 20, and after that I don't see a sure fire starter. I think a WR needy team in the late 1st early 2nd could be interested. I pull the trigger on that. I think Wilson could do well a . #3 as long as he could stay healthy. All I know is that he is the second best player on this team and is playing 20% (65% total) less snaps than Gallup. For comparison, Justin Jefferson is playing 76% of the Vikings Snaps and the same amount of snaps as Claypool and he is out performing both in catches.
He has more catches, yrds, and TDs than Gallup.
Ceedee will be a top-10 WR by the middle of next season as long as we have a new QB behind center
He’s second in the league in drops with 5.he's made several notable catches this year
all the drops??
This one from the same guy who claimed Garrett fired Colombo.the site has to put a limit on stupid thread starts/day
He’s had 2 critical drops this year that would have been 6. I want to daltons first game and the last a few others as well but none were bigger than thosehe's made several notable catches this year
all the drops??
CeeDee has elite talent every other game......................The catch last week was obviously one of the best we’ve ever seen and he deserves props for that.

I think that percentage was referring to the odds of catching a TD pass in that particular situation...not catching it when thrown over the wrong shoulder, with excellent coverage, and having to twist 180 degrees in mid air, while diving and stretching for the ball. I imagine the odds against that would be much greater.I didn't really get all the fuss about the catch vs the Vikings. Didn't it have over a 30% probability of being caught? 1/3 isn't exactly jaw dropping
Ok fair play. I just didn't think it merited so much coverage - e.g. it was no way near as difficult as Beckham's circus catch against us.I think that percentage was referring to the odds of catching a TD pass in that particular situation...not catching it when thrown over the wrong shoulder, with excellent coverage, and having to twist 180 degrees in mid air, while diving and stretching for the ball. I think he's overrated. An elite receiver can't be dropping touchdowns that others would catch in their sleep. Once ok you let it slide but twice...the guy obviously has concentration issues for whatever reason.
It wasn't as eye catching, for sure, but OBJ had the benefit of being upright and not having to look around the defender to track the ball. I guess it's just a matter of what you find harder to do personally. If you find reaching way back and catching a ball one handed at the height of your jump, then keeping your feet inbounds harder than spinning in a dive, while staying oriented and tracking a poorly thrown ball, and bringing it in before you hit the ground, then OBJ's catch was more difficult. I couldn't do either, personally, but I think when I was young, I would've had a slightly better chance at the one handed grab.Ok fair play. Bit different though isn't it. How many years has Jones proven his worth?
The second dropped catch he had been suffering with hamstring issues and shouldn't have even played. I will cut him some slack as he was seemingly thinking about his injury whilst running and dropped his concentration and the ball. From memory he didn't play much after the drop and his hamstring issues have continued this season.
Conversely Lamb just had to catch the ball from a well set position on both occasions. He wasn't running 40 yards.
