already watered down putting Haley in there, he spent most of his career as a 49'er!!

Exactly. It is an absolute no brainer he will up there. I usually defend jerry a lot, but i think haleys in the roh because jerry signed him. He was never a true cowboy

That's a few years off but I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry gave Romo, Ware and Witten the nod due their excellence on the field. Romo has been fantastic over the last few years.

In the end it is up to Jerry and no one else...assuming he's still alive when the time comes.

Didn't say there was but there are some average QB's who've put up some numbers not even HOF QB's put up during their day due to the rule changes and the league being so pass happy. All the skill positions of today are far out producing their predecessors because the game has changed. At least 7 of the all time passing rating leaders are current QB's.

You love to argue on the internet, don't you? Interesting hobby.

I post my opinions just like you and everyone else on this board. When people keep asking if Romo will be added to the ROH it's going to lead to debate but apparently you haven't figured that out. You've never engaged in an argument here? At least I can make an argument do you have anything to refute what I've said or did you just show up to take a slap? Interesting hobby you have.

I think some fans did this for Tony's first Thanksgiving day game against the Bucs. I approve.

The Cowboys lost so many games because their defense sucked. Take the recent 51-48 loss to the Broncos for instance. If our D had been better over the course of Romo's career the Cowboys would have had a few more playoff appearances and quite possibly the SB some of you are insisting upon. Does that downplay Romo's performance or the records he's achieved in a Cowboys uniform? Of course not.

The man has been nothing less than the heart and soul of this team for nearly a decade now. The ROH is about personal achievement. It's not about winning teams. If it were, we'd see dates on the Ring instead of player's names.

Tony Romo's courage and character has been flawless since he's donned the Silver & Blue. He's played with hand, shoulder and back injuries. Anyone remember how he limped behind Center time and time again with those serious back injuries? That says a lot about a man and a player's character, will to win and will to sacrifice himself for the sake of the team.

Romo is a no-brainer. JJ loves him. His coaches love him. His team and his fans love him. Pencil it in. Romo will be in the Ring.

And here we go again. Fight on KJJ, Fight on! You have a point to make, and somebody better take it. Hard!

The funny thing is you will never see how absurd you are in how you are so predictable. All I have to say is KJJ will get into an internet argument today. And sure enough, you will be there doing it. Try to stay out of two arguments tonight. Put your fisticuffs down for once.

Here you go again turning an opinion I have into a personal attack. You've decided to take the same road a few others have taken with me and it led to a dead end for them. What's funny and absurd is how predictable you have become and because of that you are no longer visible on my discussion list....buh bye! (dusting off hands)

I would hope Romo makes it into the RoH as well as Witten, I think rather he wins a SB or not he has a good chance of making it in down the road several years

I love when people try to shrug off Romo's numbers because it's a "passing league" now.

The man has the 2nd-best QB rating in NFL HISTORY! Pretty sure there's been more than 2 QBs playing in this "passing league".

Definitely worthy of the ROH.

He's made some statements in the past but I've never seen him quoted as saying he's wasted Romo's talents. If you have a quote with him saying that feel free to post it.

No, I don't have a link, I just remember reading about him saying something to that affect within the last year. Now, you've gotten my curiosity up...I'll do some research and see if I can find it.

Not trying to shrug off his numbers but all QB's numbers today are inflated due to the rule changes and the amount of passing teams do. Last season Romo's passing yards were down considerably from previous seasons due to the Cowboys leaning on the run. As for the passer ratings I mentioned 7 of the top 10 all time passing rating leaders are current QB's. The rule changes, multiple TE offenses and the quick shifty slot receivers have made QB's much more efficient today than years ago. The career passer ratings for many HOF QB's were low by todays standards because the game has changed.

As a Cowboys QB the criteria is different for #9. Dandy Don is the only other QB in the Ring without a SB and he was inducted in 1976 by Tex. IF Tony wins a ring he will not only be in the Cowboys ROH but Pro Football's HOF. He needs a SB in my opinion and he will be a lock for both. Without one...I don't see it happening.
