Does Rush read defenses and see the field better than Dak?

Daks accuracy is an issue at times. Its weird because in his rookie year he was rated maybe the most accurate passer in 2016, other than Rodgers. I think much of it is mental with him. He is a streaky dude. Thats what Dak is. When he is hot, he is hard to stop. When he isn't, he's bad.

Good example is the Bucs game week 1 in 2021. Dak was lighting them ^. He was on fire, with 0 run game. It didnt matter, he was very accurate and we really should have won that game. That is what hes capable of week in, week out. The upside with him is huge. The issue is, the downside which is he allows things to get stuck in his head and it affects his game. I don't think he is over the playoff loss last year. I think until he gains some mojo, he will struggle, sore thumb or not. Its that monkey on his back still. Thats why I wanna stick with Rush the next 2 games.

I think the staff is asking 2 much f Dak. If they use him the same way as Rush, he will be fine. SIMPLIFY THE PLAN.

1 thing is certain Dallas is winning without Dak and a totally revamped left side of the OL. Many teams don't win without their starting QB but Rush's success says more about the structure of the team and negates any excuses when Dak comes back and struggles.

You mean his accuracy is an issue when there is an incompletion?

Because that is the standard when he is in vs when a guy like Rush is in.

How, pray tell, does he have the 6th highest Rating in NFL history if this is true?

He must be the luckiest player in the history of the nfl then, if what you say is true.

Rush is throwing to his first or second read and trying not to lose the game....he can do this because of our defense. Dak goes through his progressions and trying to outscore teams....Now that he has a great defense he needs to dial it back and become a bit more bus driver, if you will. This needs to come from the play calling.

Man, I think if we see his rookie year, and his numbers in 2021, he is plenty smart and good enough. The issue with him is making the simple mundane read/throw. Rush gets it. Thats why he is winning. He isnt changing things at the line much. Hes just running the offense. Dak just needs to play ball, run the team and stop trying to play hero ball every down. SIMPLE is a great thing in football, at any level. Do the simple things well and consistently, good things happen. Daks gotta stop reinventing the game. ..ie hanging on to the ball and just trust his reads, LET THE BALL GO.Trust what he see's. He who hesitates, gets beat. Rush never hesitates, he just trusts it. When Dak was hurt with his thumb, he hung on too long, waited, then bam, got hurt. I notice with Rush, he never panics in the pocket and he releases the ball quick. TIMING. All this is something Dak can learn from..he use to do this when Linehan was here. I remember. If he can get back to the basics and do these things, great things will happen. Football isnt complicated unless ya make it thus.
