Does this year feel different?

Given the schedules I expect Dallas to have the best record in the east through week 6 but as usual that has never mattered. The question is is anything different to the point you would expect a different outcome in the playoffs.

My question back to the OP question:
How can a year feel different before it is even started? The start of the actual season and games that will measure this team is 3.5 months away.

Ok, I get it, we are in the first phase of a season known as the off-season. And yes it has been a pretty good off-season overall so far. (I would add that last year’s off-season was unbelievably bad, even a half baked one would seem “great” in comparison) So ok - off-season has been pretty good.

For me, nothing feels “different” until it is different. In other words, let’s see what happens when the games matter.
The Dallas Cowboys are losers until further notice.

The SB Champs are the winners.

Not really....

I'm full of just about the same amount of hope, optimism, and excitement that I usually am before the season starts and begin to reveal just how naive and gullible I've been the past 3-4 months.

It's an entertaining form of self-abuse and, like any other form, it has a distinct cycle.

They're all the same to me. Optimism springs eternal. My second year as HC, we were picked to finish 7 out of 8 teams. To hell with that hell, screw the haters, if you don't believe, you don't belong!! Pick your head up and bust your azz!!!!!!
We went undefeated.. first district title forbthay school in 33 years and first playoff win in 44 years. So, they all start the same.....

"Feel? Feel? we not talking about the games, but how you feel? Feel? who cares how you feel? Let me know how you feel in Dec after most of the season is over.
