He will not need to. Just as I have offered to knee cap some Chief players if necessary, I also will do a hit and run on Wade in the parking lot if we lose.

Maybe I need to check in with my therapist. I am feeling very edgy lately.

And it ALWAYS the same people who losing doesn't seem to bother all that much. They're just happy if the game gets played. I find comfort in knowing there are those here for whom losing is not acceptable. I'd rather be reading posts about how well we played the past week but it's not mine, or anyone else's fault besides the players and coaches. THEY ARE THE REASON FOR THESE THREADS. GET MAD AT THEM FOR A CHANGE!!!

Here's my thinking. After a disappointing loss in our last home game and then not showing up at all with the playoffs on the line, there is no way the coach should have been brought back this season. No way. Show me any other team in professional sports with the expectations of the Dallas Cowboys where the Head Coach was retained after the team gave up like that.

Nothing has changed. This team is talented but does not seem prepared and many players aren't showing much heart. 99 times out of 100, it's the Head Coach. Firing Wade now sends us a message that this is serious and no one is safe. It also gives Garrett his ''shot" to show if he can make a difference. If he turns the team around, great. If he doesn't, hello Jon Gruden, Bill Cowher, Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, etc.

We are the fricken Dallas Cowboys, not some mediocre franchise. It took a decade of losing before George Steinbrenner got over himself and hired a real GM and a real Manager. We are looking at 12 plus years now.

Jerry hasnt fired anyone during the season yet, no reason to believe he'd start now.

Furthermore, I still believe he's grooming Garrett to take over.

I look at the KC game as a win/win situation for the short term.

If we lose the game I think there is a glimmer of hope Wade gets canned.

If we win the game, we go into the BYE 3-2.

I bet some on here will grill you for this, but Im with ya.

Wade Phillips has run the team in an improved fashion from the off-season right through camp...that's a documented general opinion from coaches to players.

If we lose to KC, that's a good sign that our season is going to be a huge disappointment and that he'll certainly be fired or given the chance to step down at the end of the season...depending on his contract, he may even be kept on as an advisor to the defense.

However, there's no way in hell Jerry Jones is stupid enough to fire his coach in mid-season. That's a move that never helps a team as far as I know. Most quality coaches would refuse to ever replace another coach in mid-season...it just doesn't happen; that's why you always end up with an interim coach. It would be a no-win situation for any of the big names out there...they won't take a job until the offseason.

This may be Wade's last season, playoffs or no playoffs, but he won't be fired during the season. Book it!
