That's one thing about NY I definitely miss - good pizza.

There was a Mazzio's Pizza on Alta Mesa many years ago. Their pizza was the best, but then Mazzio's got bought out and they closed and reopened. After that it wasn't near as good as it had been.

There was a place downtown called Joey's that was great. Closed rather quickly, tho. *Sigh*
Joe Rod;3246717 said:We tried it last week actually. As far as those mainstream "across the USA" Pizza delivery joints go, it does indeed suck considerably less than it used to. Crust was okay, but that new Garlic stuff they put on it was shedding all over the place. They still don't put enough cheese on their pizza. Oh, their Wings weren't that bad either.

We have a place where I lived called Sbastano's (or something like that) that is Chicago-style, and that is some of the worst pizza I've ever had. If New York-style is anything like that then I would prefer never to have it. I don't know if it is though, so I would probably have New York-style just to try it out.

Chicago style is just a thick crust.
New York is typically a regular hand-tossed. Like Bob's Friday nights.
Ohhhhhhhhhh!
