Don’t let the media dictate your perception of our quarterback

Vast majority of media is click bait trash material with a select few who actually break down tape and plays.

Dak is good not great. Honestly he's only rated in the top 10 imo because the overall state of quarterbacks is horrible right now. Outside the top 12 or so it's horrible. There's only one true elite quarterback then a handful of on the cusp followed by a group of Daks level.

Just don’t.

They did the same to Romo. Romo for all his warts was a steady face for 10 years as our starter. Dak, despite his flaws, is more or less the same. I do not believe he’s as bad as the media is making him out to be and is one of the better qbs in the league. This perception that has gathered steam this off-season that he’s garbage is all part of the circus Jones has created. When it’s all said and done, we will look back at Dak, like we already do with Romo, and say, “you know he was not that bad and he was underrated”

Form your perception, form your beliefs and don’t buy into the suck we are seeing full display in these sports networks
Remember the Romo roller coaster theory that was out during his career. You could argue he was the best quarterback in the NFC when the division had Eli and McNabb as starting quarterbacks. White, Romo, and Dak are in the category of below the Hall of Fame and that is why the media seems to go after them plus they are Cowboys quarterbacks. Imagine being compared continuously to Stauback and Aikman.

Dak is a good QB and with the right people around him, can win a championship. That goes for 99% of the people that have ever played the position and been considered decent.

Yeah, the media has their opinions and so do the knowledgeable and passionate fans on this site.

He’s our QB. He’s not perfect. He’s a good leader and is a solid person. We could do much worse.

When you are the QB of the Dallas Cowboys you are going to be under next level scrutiny, like it or not. He’s an easy target.

He’s our best option today.

Let’s band together and support him in hopes that he can get this team over the hump.
Agree with everything you said but many here will just continue bash Dak.

It’s too late for that. The haters don’t have what it takes to admit they’re wrong.
What in a 2-4 playoff record and failing to perform against the Niners says his critics are wrong?

The entire sports media and more than half of Cowboys fans know he hasn’t risen in the biggest games so there only a handful that are in denial.

Only his performance in the playoffs will change the narrative……we will be waiting. 8 years the charm

Right. It's pretty much splitting hairs between Dak and Romo. Cowboys have had a history of being just on the cusp there. Both guys have pretty much the same criticisms. It's kinda like Fergashot. At least in that neither really separate themselves yet.

dont let uniformed fans dictate your perception either. We have many on here. THE ABD crew for sure is clueless and the dak is great and puts up tremendous stats crew is clueless. Teams win playoff games not individuals. If you have played a down of football you understand that more than any other sport its contingent on all phases doing their jobs if you want to hit the pinnacle of success.

Now occassionally you can have one side carry the torch but those are rare. Typically you need to be proficent on both sides. some teams on these list had both

I supported Romo through all his triumphs and all his follies because I always felt like we had a chance with him. Same with Dak.

I have liked Dak more than romo but both of them have given me some uneasy moments. I personally have the most ire for skelator. He seemed to never put the QBs in the best position to win. 1 aspect was always missing. I think we are close now though.

the only national media that matter is Skip. he knows best. except when he praises Dak, then he is an idiot.

Hurts is a perfect example. Had 1 good year now he's better than Dak according to the media. It's comical, all hurts needed was an All pro #1 WR, his defense to do the majority of the lifting, best o line in football, and an easy schedule. Hurts is a good qb but to say he's better than Dak based on 1 season is laughable to me. Even the eagles or their fans didn't want him before last season.
exactly. he has a top 3 WR group. they traded to get him a top 3 WR and shelled out a lot of money. they have a top 5 TE. probably the best OL in football. top 3 defense. top 3 Rushing attack. I could win 7 games with that team.

I don't. I have eyes.
Man, you can't use your eyes. You have to judge by statistics & analytics. Besides you don't have to worry about buying the right televisions, programming packages or spend all that time glued to a tube. Just check it out later after someone else has done all the work. :muttley:
