Dez is probably my first or 2nd favorite player on this team but I just think with how our scheme is built and how we don't do anything creative to get players involved in the offense that we should just let him walk and spend all of that money elsewhere.

Can you imagine paying this guy what 11-14 mill a year and just allowing teams to let him disapear and not getting the ball to one of the best open field runners in the game?

If our scheme were to be fixed and we could actually get him the ball on bubble screens, drags, slants, and ect then I'd love to keep him.

If not then just go sign some solid Vincent Jackson type of receiver and let him do the same thing for less. We'll take a hit in talent but we'll have more money to help other positions that actually matter in these crap schemes.

So you want to make him one of the highest paid receivers in the league and barely use him?

Having Dez Bryant in this passing scheme is like buying an expensive car, looking at in your garage, and hardly ever driving it.

How is he barley uses he's currently 2nd in the NFL in TDS and is in the top 5 in almost all wide out categories. Nice try of throwing crud to the wall

You know Vincent Jackson is one of the highest paid receivers in the game? Would be much smarter to fix the coaching

There is no way you let a guy like Dez walk, imagine how bad this offense would be without him.

It's fine as long as Tony can scramble and make plays outside of the scheme.

I don't want to give this guy 13-14 mill and let him disapear for long stretches in games.

Yup.....Agreed

No way I give him "elite" $$$. Just disappears for too long of stretches. Sadly...Jerry is gonna cave because he's gotta sell tickets. Who's gonna be Jerry next big sell job? Romo??? Ha....That boat has sailed.

It's bad with him.

it may be bad, but i think dez is far from the problem. if we let him go who are we gona go with? Twill? the guy who quit on a route today? bc he tends to dissapear quite alot too. Find ways to get dez the ball, move him around.

CATCH17 with another 'brilliant' thread.

Our coach let's this guy disapear all the time and doesn't just let him catch and run.

TO put up big numbers here but he was never used as effectively as he was in San Fran and Philly.

You get a guy that involved and it opens everything up.

We let chumps take him out of the game and run him 30 yards downfield and the most creative way we can get him the ball is off of a back shoulder throw.

Dont get me wrong.. Dez is worth the money. He's worth every penny. Just not for a team that doesn't know how to get their money's worth.

i understand what you mean and i agree with you that we do not use dez the way we should. Dez is a playmaker and we allow bums to take him out the game easy. And the worst part is we actually help them take him out the game. Look at dez and twill routes they run. They run the same bs routes every week. Barely run inside routes. This scheme is wack. Its good if romo has time sometime but other than that i hate it. Dez doesn't motion, go in the slot when we need him to or etc. Its like we use him as a decoy to free others up. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

How many high end talents will we say this about before this regime is put to rest?

It makes me happy to finally see D. Ware in a place that's not wasting his talent.

We've wasted some pretty good careers up until this point.

We have to impose our will in the ground game to make it to the promise land in these schemes.

We can't rely on Romo or Dez bailing us out with great plays outside of the scheme and making it to a championship.

Seeing Romo under pressure and looking at our receivers sprinting 30 yards down field has just become disgusting to watch.
