Ben and Skin reportedly said it. And I find it exceedingly unlikely that they'd have the exclusive scoop on a story that big with that many observers if it really happened.

I think it reportedly was the p-word and not the b-word though.

If that actually happened, he would have been fined, if not cut outright. The alternative is to believe that the head coach is what Hardy reportedly said he is.

It makes zero sense and there is absolutely nothing to support the claim.

I agree. I'm just relaying what was said the last time this was brought up.

If it had happened, the team would be handling the Hardy questions differently, too.

Exactly. If he was a terrible guy, just say that. Be clear about your intentions to walk away and clearly state why. Bury the bum and effectively end his career if he did these things. Do the league a public service.

If he was this devil some would have you believe, he doesn't deserve to remain in the league.

I don't think a pass rusher exists in this draft with the talent and explosiveness of Hardy. Not saying that means we should retain him, bc clearly his abilities aren't really what's holding us back. But I would give it long thought. Bc if he can come into his own in Dallas he's elite

A perfect example of how something with absolutely no substance behind it gets taken as fact by some people.

If you're referring to me on this, please read my original post on this statement, and let me know how you came to this conclusion.

If not, nevermind.

Exactly right. Sign a mutually beneficial deal that the team can get out of if things go south. Fine the guy if he's late or if he mouths off. Teams do that.

Sign him for a year and do what you can to protect yourself otherwise and for the future.

No, I'm not. You were clear in your post. Sorry if my quoting you made it look otherwise.

Just wanted to clear it up.

I agree that it doesn't make sense on paper that it happened due to the complete lack of action against him. No reduction in playing time, no suspension, no apparent fine, no announcement.

If it did, it would highlight how completely upside down the organization is, and there's literally no hope until the old man goes away.

Exactly! If this 'monster' did what he's accused of, how was he even still on the team?

And if the team did nothing, the coaches and everyone involved deserve whatever poor treatment they get because they're apparently unable to execute a simple code of conduct.

None of it adds up.

I think I'm going to need you to clarify your point because it's not coming across.

The guy I quoted said that Hardy isn't on the roster because our head coach doesn't know how to handle a person like him. I made the withering comment that no coach in the NFL must be able to since he is unsigned. This was sarcastic.

You then came in and said there are other reasons that he is unsigned. And I agree. Reasons beyond a generic statement like "our coach can't handle this type of player."

It is a silly criticism of a coach that can easily be described as a player's coach. Players love Garrett. One need only look at a locker room video of him interacting with players to realize it.

And what did Mincey say?????

So Sean Lee, a Captain on the defense says Hardy was fine. Mincey who is looking for a new contract at the same position that Hardy plays says he was horrible in the locker room. Sorry, ill take Lee's word

And other teams don't have owners who are obviously ready, willing, and able to sign players like Hardy. While it's clear that Garrett and the Cowboys do. It's certainly not Jerry who doesn't want Hardy back, while every other coach in the league would have to stick their neck out to get their owner to do the same.

If he's not back, it's because if Garrett, not Jerry Jones.

Some players love Garrett. To act like its a universal feeling is a big assumption to make, bordering on naive. What players ultimately love is making money and winning. And a coach who can't help them win doesn't get love. Moreover, a coach that players feel inhibits their ability to win isn't loved at all.

It's poetic justice if Garrett doesn't want Hardy because Hardy called him a B or a P.

IM just saying that its not absurd to believe that Mincey would lie to take away his biggest competition at his position to gain favour and a contract.

Maybe.. But the same time even without Hardy Mincey isn't an option..

Yes. Jerry was willing to sign Hardy. They brought him in for a year. They clearly didn't love what they saw. They have seemingly moved on. What this has to do with Jerry or Jason at this point is unclear.

As to players liking Jason. It's not an unknown thing. He is largely viewed as inspirational and a locker room guy. His leadership is constantly praised. Will everyone love him? No. Does everyone love anyone? No. The fact I have to spell this out is embarrassing for you and shows you to be downright naive.
