Wish Garrett would of played Zeke in that New Years Day Egals fest, really wanted him to beat big mouth Dickerson' record. Especially after telling the world "Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott Won't Break My Rushing Rookie Record".

What's funny is some of these so called Football Guru's proceeded to claim how the Egals looked solid at the end of the season by winning their last 2 games after losing 5 straight. Really? Guess it had nothing to do with most of our starter's out.

“He didn’t have to win the games for them,” Pederson said of Prescott with the Cowboys, who lost in the divisional playoffs after a 13-3 regular season. “He knew that he had a good defense, a tremendous offensive line, a great runner. He had some veteran players that he could rely on and he learned that early, as soon as he had the opportunity to play and that was from day one. That’s something that a young quarterback sometimes, takes them awhile to figure out the game that way. That’s the impressive thing is he learned to handle that business that well, utilize the people around him, and understand that he didn’t have to go win the game.”

He obviously meant this as a compliment in a way to not discredit Carson Wentz. I am guessing Pederson checked out during his first matchup against Dak where he came alive late in the game and stole a victory with his clutch, late game heroics.

Hopefully the competitor in Dak reads this as a NFC East foe trying to downplay his accomplishments.
what a load of crap.... a good defense? everybody and their mother talked about dallas defensive deficiencies, lack of CB (Claiborne injury, Carr the sieve) and lack of pass rush and missing MLB..... so now, they were what the offense laid back on!!! and btw, that OL was average in pass protection.... and how many times did Dak bring the team back and win on the last drive and last minute? what a load of crap....

I guess Dak is the next Romo.... lets pile it on because we are jealous....

What dimension has Pederson been residing in? What realm of twisted reality created this disjoint from rational thought? What has created this mental blindness?

Dak didn't have to win any games? He was a freakin' rookie 4th round pick, you intellectual tradegy! Those kind of starting QB's lose games, point blank!

Thirty one other teams with the same circumstances as the Cowboys would have crowned him King of their city simply by virtue of his lack of INT's. Those guys are given the high standard of " Don't do anything stupid". Failure is the norm.

Dak Prescott is a legend starting with the simple fact that he didn't fail in that regard. However, he went far above and beyond. He showed more leadership, composure, competitive spirit and determination than any other rookie QB in history. He flat out made history.

Dak had to win games and the greatest shock is he succeeded in doing so.

He is credited with 5 comeback drives, three of them ended with a TD pass to Dez. Another one he is credited with a rushing TD by Dak.

Dak is credited with engineering five 4th quarter game winning drives, two in December.

Dak had the best rookie quarterback season as a starter in NFL history. He was better than Roethlisberger, Wilson, Marino, better than 28 year old Moon who handed the ball to Earl Campbel, better than Joe Ferguson who handed the ball to OJ Simpson during his record setting 2000 yard season.

The Cowboys were 7-1 when Zeke DIDN'T run for 100 yards.

Anybody that believed Zak was a busdriver speny most of their early years riding the short bus to school.
