I think it will. Not only does Jerry want Elliott but Garrett and Linehan like him too. In fact, all the offensive coaches seem to like him. I think they buck the trend and grab him, unless Miami moves up to get him at #3.

Besides, if the Cowboys know that the Dolphins are trying to trade up for Elliott, why wouldn't they say they were interested in Ramsey?

Any team aside from the Rams and the Eagles who forecast their pick is stupid. I may have my questions about Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett, but I don't think they're that stupid.

After seeing some drafts of QBs that have went in the first round when they have no business being drafted there...it just does not shock me anymore.

No way is Denver taking one of these scrub QBs at 31. John Elway is smarter than that -- he knows full well that the value at the end of round 1 is on defense, not reaching for some hack QB. Any team who actually pulls the trigger on one of these bozos in round 1, when you have so much talent at other positions to choose from, should get their collective heads checked.

When that RB is special i say you go for it. Elliot IMO is just as good as Gurley. Dallas was willing to give Murray 4 mil a yr. Thats basically what the 4th pick will be making. You have a special player who will control the game for you and allow the defense to stay fresh. Last yr McFadden did ok, but the guy couldnt get a yrd in short yardage. BPA should be the rule right? Think Elliot is better then anybody who will be available. IMO thats not a waste of money but a great draft pick choice.

We paid .4 mil that's 400,000 in guaranteed money to McFadden for 2 yr contract. So hmm lets see 200,000 minus 6 mil plus that 6 mil a year more in guaranteed money ALONE.
