Honestly, I was intrigued by Vaughn, but that's about all the Cowboys were because they got him for a 6th despite excellent production in college.
If the Cowboys want to go anywhere, they are signing Derrick Henry for a 5th round pick or something like that.

Deuce isn’t going anywhere. He was always the #3 RB behind Pollard and Dowdle. He mostly got garbage end of game victory handoffs away from the sideline when we were running clock and teams knew it. One game he was #2 because Dowdle was out. For whatever reason, it was clearly Mike’s game plan to run inside, be physical, and make SD play it. So Davis was active as the #3 RB, most likely for a special teams spot due to our injuries.

It’s premature to talk about a wasted 6th round pick on a RB who hasn’t even been used when the defense is still playing pass and run.

man people chewed me a new one when i said he needed to bulk up and would take him a few years. he’s got good vision and balance. he just needs strength to not get pulled down by arm tackles. a year or 2 in weight room and he’s going to be better.

Fisher just is against Deuce from day 1. He has a weird bias against him. But yeah, he aint getting cut or demoted. I still think at some point, he will get more in game reps.

Think he was probably a little over-hyped from the pre-season. Not as many running lanes in Tier 1. Could also be other things but Dowdle has run well given opportunities, seemed to me Deuce went down immediately upon contact when given the chance. Didn't really watch all 22 on him though admittedly.
