How long before we hear Mara has complained to the league about this and wants the league to disallow the signing because the Cowboys didn't have the cap room when the agreement was made? Would that really surprise anyone?

Don't get me started on Mara.:bang2:

Hmmmm...Wonder if Lee and Carter are healing ok? I like depth but would think we would be looking for depth in the most depleted areas of the team? Hope he's a good Special Teams player as well?

Carter - Starting WLB
Lee - Starting MLB
Durant - Starting SLB

I'm highly confident Durant will win the job. He and Israel Idonije were my two offseason wants (based on our cap) and I think he'll win the job hands down. Very good against the run, adequate in coverage for a 1st/2nd down player, and will come off the field in the nickel.

Just build a great defense because Romo is going to screw up.

I think Tony's unmatched ability to escape pressure has made some fans overlook how terrible the O-line truly is.

Not really. Romo had 2.77 seconds per drop back to throw, 12th best in the NFL. He had 5.04 seconds in the pocket on average before scrambling, which again is about 12th best.

lol! Man, i dont care what stats say.... any man with partial vision in one eye could see this offensive line was horrible at run blocking and pass blocking.

Do you have the Top 5 and Bottom 5 in those stats readily available? Curious to see if they pass the sniff test as far as good/bad offensive line goes.

Like I said earlier, the running game was terrible. A shade or two below all-time bad. Having to throw anywhere from 30-45 times a game is unacceptable. Period. This isn't to say Romo was blameless. That horrid Detroit game comes to mind. However, anybody who pays attention to his game knows that his overall skillset is good enough to win with. And the first step is building a capable line. And getting a starting-caliber #2 behind Demarco Murray.

Yep, facts are meaningless when you have confirmation bias on your side.

Stats are meaningless actually.... just as 17 years of facts are far too meaningless for some biased views.

What are the stats when it comes to the running game? Also, how often did Dallas use extra blockers? Unlike some, I have no bias on the issue, just opinions.

OL "grading" from internet sites widely panned (when convenient) or by some guy sitting on a message board....

now that is objective data

Someone should make a thread about Romo having the 12th best line. Aaron Rodgers has a horrible line and he still dominates.

@CBS11BillJones: suspect Cowboys will try to deal Kyle Wilber to a 3-4 team...try to get a pick for him...just speculating....doesn't seem like a fit in 4-3

Nobody will trade a pick for an unproven second year player, one that was a mid round pick. There's more value holding on to him than anything else.
