This is absolutely true. Despite every opportunity, Vaughan has shown absolutely nothing. He's completing barely half of his passes, has 2 interceptions and nothing close to a touchdown pass, and his numbers fell off a cliff after his first game against San Diego. Instead of getting better, he's getting worse.

Not only shouldn't he be on the 53, he would be a waste of a practice squad spot. Not only should he be cut, he should be banished from the league. He has zero business putting on an NFL uniform. If the team were insistent on having a #3 quarterbacks, there have to be plenty of better options, as Vaughan is completely incapable of handling the requirements of the NFL game.

It's almost like he has regressed since last summer. At least then he showed a little promise.

I don't think there's any doubt about it. Whatever he showed last year is a distant memory.

The guy I saw on Sunday didn't even want to be there.

I think that you are using such a zero sum relativism with Showers vs Vaughn. Oh noes. I do it more than a little with the injustice that is Bishop vs Hayden. I think along the same lines as Nate Newton about the QBs. Just because I'm confrontational doesn't mean I don't respect you though.

Don't ever complain about trouble reading a posting by myself...(the decoder ring is already available on site):)

What about trading something to Washington for RGIII?

Rather sign Austin Davis when Rams release him. Davis reminds me of Romo, he is elusive, accurate and the game never gets too big for him. Sort of like the anti-Vaughan.

And Davis is not afraid to win, unlike Weeden.

I dont care if they keep vaughan or not at this point, because he doesnt seem that good. I think people are overblowing how bad he has been though. He has had some nice moments in the preseason. I wouldnt be upset if they put him on the ps.

then what would you trade for him? No way he reaches us on the Waiver wire so if you want him, get Garrett to call Jeff and give up something for him.

Weeden just looks lost since the Browns dayz...... and he never was found. RG3 solves the backup problem, pronto.

Just think about it, Romo might be able to help develop some pass pocket presence and release the baton to him in the near future in 3-5 years people..... 3-5 years.

Rg3 isnt ever going to be a pocket passer. If his number one weapon cant be his legs, hes not an nfl qb. I think he has proven at at this point.

Jerry is said to be friends with Fisher. Just offer a bottle of Johnnie Blue.

I was at the game last night. He's terrible. Wide open guys, easy check downs, all missed.

Time to end the experiment.

It was a quite disheartening. But then again, it always is when you root for an underdog. Tony is the great exception.

One thing I noticed about all of the back QB's is that they all stare down their read. Defenders know where the ball is going by simply reading the QB's eyes. You would think they would pick this skill up from Romo.... Staring off the defender. Nope.
