Eagles fan's question: Are Cowboys fan afraid of the Eagles?

Philly fans aren't gonna buy into Dallas' O-line until it's proven they've improved. With the exception of last year, I'm not sure Dallas has gotten Mcnabb figured out yet, and even then, you can't dismiss the fact the team played poorly because of injuries. I do agree we have the worst WR's in the league, but history shows we've been dominant without them. Lastly, I'm just not sold on Bledsoe and his ability to carry this team all year either.

I agree with you DTEF.

Plenty of Cowboy fans here are aware of the unanswered questions their OL hve to answer this year. They've let two players (one ordinary lineman, and one "key" player) go. Replacements will have to learn the playbook and gel with the remaining OL for starters.

They'd better be good, because I know for sure, they will be tested!

See, this concept works so many ways, though.

Let's reverse it for a second.

Dallas fans aren't going to believe Reid can call a legitimate balanced game until he proves it.

Dallas fans aren't going to believe that Dline is improved until it proves it.

Dallas fans aren't going to believe that woeful trio of LBs are worth anything until they prove it.

Dallas fans aren't going to believe McNabb isn't a cowardly choker until....well, there's almost nothing he can do to dispel that now - it's basically fact.

You mean the same un-balanced play calling and choking Reid and McNabb have used to beat the Cowboys 8 of the past 10 games?

Priceless. You will never live down that complete brain fart, PT. Never.

You know, of course, I am sure, that we have one 1 uno new starter. I'm sure you knew that, since you know so much about our Oline.

Seriously. The Giants play us twice this year.

Fortunately, we get to roll against Philly twice as well, so that's a bit of a reprieve.

And got swept last year? Yep, that's it.

That true however the drvision was weak and our defense was weaker than wet toliet tissue. With that being said teams will eventually catch up to you.

Most Eagle fans on WIP seem to think that they are a 9-7 team.

I have no reason to disbelieve you AC, but most Eagle fans I know think we should take each game ...one at a tiMe. Every game is a playOff game!

I'm not really here to exchange in a war of words, but as a Philly transplant whose resided in Dallas for 19 years and someone who follows both teams closely, I don't see enough proof Bledsoe & Parcells can turn things around.

I think the Eagles are in a period of time where they're rebuiding. I don't think there is anything to be worried about. Their personnel has gotten worse while the rest of the league's personnel has gotten better.

In the NFC East, you could argue that all the teams have good coaches. I think that much is true. So it comes down to the players ...

No disrespect, but you guys rely too much on McFluffy; and McFluffy doesn't really scare me any more.

If you haven't noticed yet, our coach has been loading our defense with personnel that is specially tailored for teams with QBs like McNapp.

This could be the kind of year where we're seeing Eagle fans crawling back up in their scummy little holes with bags on their heads.

That's my unbiased opinion ...

I think the both teams (Philly & Dallas) will split with both teams winning at home.

Which is where my post about proof being a two way street would come in.

I'm dizzy.

I'm highly involved with a board that is predominately eagles fans and their is a great utual respect at this time. We know the eagles weaknesses and they know ours. We will more than likely split the series this year, but it could go either way. No need for either team to be scared. Unless of course our defense lives up ti it's potential.

Call me a homer but I predict a sweep by the Cowboys, sincew the first game is in Philly and TO will be motivated. The second game will be a close game but a victory for the Cowboys

Rebuilding? Not true. We've continued to upgrade & with the exception of our LB's, what other areas have gotten worse? The same can be said for your O-line in past couple of years.

McNabb had a terrible year in 05, but he's still the best QB in the division.

Is Bledsoe the answer for the Cowboys? Maybe it's time to Romo a chance?

When he had the receiver whose jersey is burning in your sig, this was a completely true statement.

Mcnabb's still the best. If not, tell me who in the division is better? Eli, Bledsoe, Brunell? Pick one!

In all seriousness, what concerns do you have for your team? What will you be looking for in tonights game?

With TO - I think Bledsoe can be. Last year it was Brunell.

NT - FS - and our Oline. That's all I want to see perform decently, while the starters are in.
