Am I missing something, why is Philly suddenly the best GM in the NFL trading for a position they were already ok at? Meanwhile, last I check their weak links, LT and LB and CB are still not fixed. Blount isn't all that different from Ajayi so I'm not sure how this improves them all that much in my opinion.

But is it really? I think the jury is still out on the season for all teams.
Ok. You cud be right mamacita. But please consider this: When we were on our roll last year, I for one was clamoring loudly that that was the moment we needed to be aggressive at the trade deadline and go get pass rush help (a sentiment many posters echoed). We did nothing. Then, after 13-3 we apparently totally screw the pooch on his past offseason doing little to nothing for what shud have been SB aspirations when the conference was there for the taking. The one thing I respect Philly for rt now is there recognize when the card count is in their favor and don’t play with scared money.

Where have these moves gotten them? Y'all do this every year on this site..I remember when you guys wanted Chip Kelly...you guys were upset when we let them have Demarco...these moves never work but we never hear anything from you guys when they don't work.

What has Ajayi done in this league?

We can always hope that this move will end up being a bust like Murray. So we shall see.

Give it a rest guys. Im no fan of garretts or gm jerry, but remind me of the eagles sb victories again? Just throw them out as you remember them

Again, nobody cares! What do Landry and Jimmy Johnson's accomplishments have to do with Jason freakin' Garrett?

Oh, that's right, nothing!

The same as past Eagles records have to do with their current team.

Nothing.

I remember people being upset that the Commanders signed T Pryor in the offseason.
Or when the Seahawks traded for Jimmy Graham.

This is fun.
Can anyone think of more of these types?

I get it...but why the regression this year? Is that limited tread on the tire now bald?

Same reason their quarterbacks keep getting killed. Their offensive line is terrible.

He's not the best GM.

But he's doing a better job than our front office.

Trades for Wentz, Darby, Ajayi. FA signings like Jeffrey and T Smith. Meanwhile, we sign Paea and Nolan Carroll and make no trades. And reach for guys like Taco...

Calais Cambell was sitting there begging us to sign him. He is now leading the NFL in sacks with Lawrence. Imagine having those two bookends on the outside rushing the passer? Intead of soft Taco we should have taken King the CB. Now we are talking possibilities.

And there is the dumbest of all comebacks.

You homers are completely and utterly blind. It's almost sad.
Why do come here if you NEVER EVER have anything good to say about the Dallas Cowboys? Being a fan of a team is a choice. Choose something that makes you happy. You refer to us as dumb and blind, yet you spend at least half your day focused on a team that you really don't like. You have proven that you don't like the Cowboys organization so save your "I'm a fan" crap.

It's a 4th round pick. If he busts, so what? They had three 4th rounders this year.

Murray was lots of money and cap space, a much bigger pill to swallow.

Yeah, I remember fans telling us we were "fine" signing Nolan Carroll to replace Carr and Claiborne.

You're right, this is fun.

Is there really an argument that their FO has been great and ours has been horrible?

Let’s be honest, we got really lucky with Dak. If not we’d absolutely be in the gutter right now. 13-3 with a bright future going forward and we take a giant step back because of our FO’s being inept

Our front office and coaching staff are the same. They stick to their philosophy. While the main philosophy is sound, they lack any kind of creativity or balls.

You can't tell me this team wouldn't be much much better with TJ Ward, Joe Haden, and pretty much any halfway decent player at DT.
