Can understand the frustration on many fans but also have to look beyond just this year and that is not to say that we are out of anything this year. The O line is playing very well and it will be a success running game even without Zeke just not explosive although Rod Smith seems to have some of those traits.

Eagles are going all in this year from the looks of it but for the moves they have made, none have addressed the O line where they had been very successful in the running game but now with a suspect LT and some other injuries to the OG (although not enough to keep them out of games yet), it remains to be seen if the running game will continue at the same level. Against SF they barely got to a 100 yards (112 on 31 carries) so even with Ajayi just not sure how that plays out. Also Wentz is a good QB but he was hit a lot over the last few games and that will wear on any QB.

If our OL continues to play as well as they have the last two games then it will come down to the Cowboys and Eagles for the division. Our defensive line has been playing well and hopefully will continue to get better as I hope our young secondary will also.

I do believe that the front office is also working toward signing our own for next year in Martin, Hitchens, and Lawrence rather than bringing some rent a player with high cap number just for the year. Right now we are 11th in total offense, 2nd in rush offense, 9th in total defense, 12th in pass defense and 14th in run defense. Those are good starts and hopefully will improve.

Are the Eagles better than us, by record yes, overall, well we will see won't we but right now not really sure that all the FA moves will be the game changer. I will say this if we keep playing as well as we have and do it even without Zeke for the next six weeks then we will be in the hunt in the end. Time will tell.

I think something is wrong where we are unlike some other teams where we simply are not aggressive about trading.

Roseman will trade with any one at any time. There are the new guard GMs like Lynch, Billy Beane etc. who are always open for business but we have yet to build any kind of relationship with them.

Jerry Jones likes to talk about having irons in the fire etc., but they never pull the trigger. I don't know if teams deliberately avoid doing business with us or if we simply are bad to work with in that regard.

We network with a handful of teams tops and even those deals are low risk low reward roster shuffles at the end of it all.

The rest of the time we spend sitting on our hands and telling ourselves how much we like what we have.

It is pretty frustrating.

The NFL is changing, and we are always slow to catch up.

We still operate a good 10-15 years behind everyone else. GM's are becoming younger and more willing to trade similar to the NBA, where as the old ones still think it's the 90's.

I think it's either Jones values his player too much (doesn't want to trade anyone of perceived value) or they're just super concerned about the cap signing internal FAs that are coming up. IDK,

I was just thinking we needed another one of those threads where you leave battered and confused covered in a mixture of sperm and Eagles feathers and have to wonder what the hell happened in there.

Where were we this time last year? Eagles fans were making posts like these on their message boards about their team relative to ours. We went on a long win streak last season and teams were jealous of our signings of dak and zeke and we didn't win one playoff game. Think about that.

What incentive does this FO have to get better? We laughed at the Eagles and Chip Kelly. Even though he won double digit games and made the playoffs in his first year and became just the 2nd coach in NFL history to win a division title in his first year in the NFL. And I think he did this inserting Nick Foles due to injuries to Vick. He went 10 - 6 his 2nd year. Things went sour and he was eventually fired. But back to back double digit win season in his 1st 2 years. People thought the Eagles would be dead for a while because of the mess Chip had made of their front office. Guess the jokes was on the rest of us.

Dallas is a money making machine. The amount of revenue streams tied to the Dallas Cowboy brand is unlimited...and just when you think the different ways to make money has been exhausted...Jerry finds new ways. All of this DESPITE not winning ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! Understand what game is being played.....then decide how you will proceed with your fandom!

Things are comfortable in Dallas. Money is flowing like a waterfall. Which is why the results on the field do not force this organization to show a sense of urgency. If Zekes suspension is upheld...Jerry should be watching very closely how Garrett figures out a way to at lest go .500. But I doubt it will matter.

I'll start with "good ones" as soon as you do.

And if you "don't remember" it, you really should look into it.
Huh? Not following you.

And why should I look into it? Its not very interesting and not at all relevant to anything.

And something you'd rather not see.
Again huh?

Your a weird little dude aren’t you...
You respond to my post that wasn’t directed toward you unless you had some other players fans were upset we lost out on that turned out to be bust...
You respond with what I have to assume was an attempt at starting an arguement...problem is your attempt fell flat and your responses just didn’t seem to make any sense.

You are a strange fellow.

Over the next three years we will have Martin, Dak, Zeke, Lawrence and Irving all needing new contracts. If we keep them, those 5 alone will eat up roughly 20-25% of our available cap space.

Wentz isn't a good example when we got an equally good franchise QB without having to trade up.
Dak is good, but he's not Wentz.

We'll find out what Dak is these next six weeks. Time for him to step up.
