Why do come here if you NEVER EVER have anything good to say about the Dallas Cowboys? Being a fan of a team is a choice. Choose something that makes you happy. You refer to us as dumb and blind, yet you spend at least half your day focused on a team that you really don't like. You have proven that you don't like the Cowboys organization so save your "I'm a fan" crap.

I actually have a lot of good things to say about the Cowboys. But I also won't be a nitwit homer and just not criticize when I feel they've screwed up. And they screwed up this offseason.

And the team that was at the bottom of the division zoomed right past us because they were smarter this offseason. So yeah, I am going to complain when as it stands right now, the Eagles have a better roster than we do top to bottom and are a legit contender in the NFC and we aren't largely because of the decisions made by our front office.

And there is the dumbest of all comebacks. Are you going to double down on the silliness and try to refute my post and claim the Eagles didn't have a better offseason than we did and that's why they are 7-1 and we are 4-3?

You homers are completely and utterly blind. It's almost sad.
I dont know. I'm not a homer by your definition. I still feel we dont have the defense to win a SB but...
The "homers" around here are really no sadder than the segment of depressed fans that have turned their hatred inward on themselves.

At least the homers seem to be optimistic and enjoying the ride.
You depressed self hating fans just seem a bit more sad....from my perspective.

It's a 4th round pick. If he busts, so what? They had three 4th rounders this year.

Murray was lots of money and cap space, a much bigger pill to swallow.

People are automatically assuming on this board that this move makes the Eagles Superbowl bound. For as much hype as the Eagles are getting at the moment, it will be the biggest choke in franchise history if they can't win the SB in upcoming recent seasons.

Is there really an argument that their FO has been great and ours has been horrible?

Let’s be honest, we got really lucky with Dak. If not we’d absolutely be in the gutter right now. 13-3 with a bright future going forward and we take a giant step back because of our FO’s being inept

Eagles fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the ride. LOL.

I am not depressed. In fact, I am going out in an hour to play some golf with some friends before kids trick or treating starts. Going to be a great time.

I guess you guys try to soothe yourselves by tricking yourselves into thinking that people that complain about the franchise are just ugly miserable people and that your lives are so much better. So you kind of justify your blind willingness to stomach whatever the franchise sells you.

So them not winning is a choke.

But our 13-3 team not winning wasn't a choke. And then having such a poor offseason that they turned a 13-3 team into a middle of the pack NFC team is also not a choke job?

Yeah, I remember fans telling us we were "fine" signing Nolan Carroll to replace Carr and Claiborne.

You're right, this is fun.
I don't remember that one. Everyone i read post from regarding Nolan Carroll was pretty pessimistic on this signing.

Do you have any good ones?

Our front office and coaching staff are the same. They stick to their philosophy. While the main philosophy is sound, they lack any kind of creativity or balls.

You can't tell me this team wouldn't be much much better with TJ Ward, Joe Haden, and pretty much any halfway decent player at DT.

As I said all offseason, this year was the one to be aggressive in FA because you have a franchise QB and RB on rookie contracts, like Seattle did with Russ. But no. Paws and Carroll.

Which is eagle fans would rather come here, not calling the current ones in here, but let me explain.

Eagles dont play for the sb. The eagles, bills, chargers, cardinals, few others play for, fill the stadium we love our money. If they win grear, if they dont they roll around in money.

Eagle fans will come here because even as bad as dallas is today, they will right the ship and meet their goal. Eagles fo has no goal there.

Give it a rest guys. Im no fan of garretts or gm jerry, but remind me of the eagles sb victories again? Just throw them out as you remember them

which has nothing to do with the current team and the future.

What are gonna do about it besides whine and try to make everybody else miserable because you are? Go play golf and trick or treat then come back here and piss on every thread because that's what you do.

I can't speak for everyone. But i think most people here would agree that you generally dont have anything positive to say and like to attack anyone who doesn't accept the rain cloud following them around.

Sounds like you have a fun day ahead. Halloween should be fun at my house as well. I spent 2 hours carving a Pennywise pumpkin for the kids last night.

When did I say that us going 13-3 and not getting to the Superbowl wasn't a choke? I already said that 12-13 win seasons aren't good enough for Garrett to stick around if he can't get it done and get this team to the Superbowl. And that Jerry shouldn't use it as an excuse to keep giving Garrett more seasons.

But, yes if Philly doesn't win the Superbowl season anytime soon then it will be a choke. Considering the hype that they are getting and people crowning them as NFC/Superbowl Champions already at this point in the season. Then it will be a choke. Especially since some think that the NFC East is already theirs and if they get the top seed in the playoffs, just to fail again at winning another Superbowl. During one of the many seasons where their team was crowned as the best in the NFC/unstoppable,

Perhaps this organization still needs to get better at the gm position. But.....

I think something is wrong where we are unlike some other teams where we simply are not aggressive about trading.

Roseman will trade with any one at any time. There are the new guard GMs like Lynch, Billy Beane etc. who are always open for business but we have yet to build any kind of relationship with them.

Jerry Jones likes to talk about having irons in the fire etc., but they never pull the trigger. I don't know if teams deliberately avoid doing business with us or if we simply are bad to work with in that regard.

We network with a handful of teams tops and even those deals are low risk low reward roster shuffles at the end of it all.

The rest of the time we spend sitting on our hands and telling ourselves how much we like what we have.

It is pretty frustrating.

Trades for Wentz, Darby, Ajayi. FA signings like Jeffrey and T Smith. Meanwhile, we sign Paea and Nolan Carroll and make no trades. And reach for guys like Taco...
it goes in cycles. don't forget they also had bad trades and picks..... I don't just point to the good, but also remember the screw ups....

I'll start with "good ones" as soon as you do.

And if you "don't remember" it, you really should look into it.
