It is possible the season ends this Sunday. First game of the season that is a true must win. Skins will be up to end the Boys season. I expect the Bears to be ready for the Eagles too and could see both teams losing.

Simply it is a must win. As a fan I want revenge from last seasons debacle in Redskinland. The Shegals play the late game so it is a win or go home duel in Washington. Our defensive confidence is as low as a rattlesnake in the pit. Hate to lose and watch the late game hoping for a chance...lol

The true pain is that we could mail it in, and the Eagles could force us against our will into yet another Week 17 soul crusher :(

That's not true. Under that scenario, both teams are 8-7 going into the final game. Winner of Dallas - Philly is the division champ.

Correct. Having said that, we do prefer this scenario just in case we tie in Week 17.

And if we win and the Eagles lose to the Bears, we win the NFC East no matter what happens in week 17.

Hos, what am I missing here? That would put both teams into a head-to-head matchup at 8-7.

If the Cowboys lose, they are out with an Eagles' win. If the Cowboys win, the Bears game doesn't matter.

This should of been a game where the Cowboys can win the division in week 16 instead of a must win game to keep their playoff hopes alive. I don't feel confident on Cowboys beating Commanders by the way the defense is playing, but I will say that IF the Cowboys beat the Reskins, they will beat the Eagles. I think Foles is a good qb but I notice thru the season that he does strugle against teams that play zone coverage.

In the Minnesota game, they played a lot of zone and made some good tackles. It took Foles until the 4th quarter to find those holes.

This cant be true. Eagles are a game ahead of us going into Sunday. If Dallas would have beat GB then the scenario above would make sense.
Well, the Eagles lost last week, so if I'm not mistaken, if the Cowboys beat the Skins and the Bears lose, then they're ahead of the Eagles based on the division record...and common opponents. I believe the whole scenario is if the Eagles lose against the Bears. Eagles win...and then Eagles game will determine the division winner.

Doesnt it feel like the same scenario the past like 4 years? lol Every time it ends with our embarrassment.
Yes, it's the exact same scenario, starting with the Eagles in 2009 (they won)... 2010 (clusterfudge)... 2011 Giants loss... 2012 Skins (loss)... It's only right the Cowboys end the season against the Eagles and redeem themselves. At least I hope.

.
The Eagles are a game ahead of the Cowboys right now. There is no way we can clinch this week.

The tiebreaker only matters if both teams lose this week and then we enter the final game still behind Philly.
