I really can see this happening. Cousins looked good and we are playing away. Eagles will be at home on a Sunday night and should know their destiny by then.

The season was over at halftime of the saints game! Thats when we were shown this is a bottom 12 team. Anytime you have no shot at winning the sb the season is a bust. Let alone being basically handed the nfce and still losing it! lol this organization is a joke!

It will be all over in week 16, Cousins is going to shred this defense and Philly will beat the Bears.

Best thing to come out of last week, is that Jerry is going to miss out on a home playoff date and all that revenue. Nothing better that watching the Ringleader of this SH#T SHOW get hit in the pocketbook.

Bad Trades,Bad Drafts,Bad Coaches and Bad Decisions over the last 17 years , the result ...one playoff win.

This once storied franchise has been reduced to a joke and it tears me apart to have watched this happen.

Let's hope we start having some drafts soon where we pick up 3 or more starters every draft. We cannot afford any more second round non-starting TEs or injured guys we hope can help next year.
Either we get better now or this team will fall off a clift.

I hope for the best these two weeks, but I cannot say with a straight face that this is a playoff team.

I love this team with all my heart but you're kidding yourself if you thought our season still had life after the Bears game. Even if we do squeak into the playoffs, we are getting a beat down by whoever we play.

Agreed. Since Dallas plays before Philly this weekend, if Dallas loses, Philly could rest their starters because their game vs the Bears would be meaningless. Their are articles online about this. Chip Kelly said he would play his starters anyway against the Bears no matter what Dallas does in the early game.

100% wrong. If we lose in Washington, an Eagle win against Chicago gives them the division and the last game means nothing. If we lose and they win this Sunday, the Eagles will have a two game lead over us. Game (and season) over.

There going to get close to 40 on us. We will never stop there running game and our pass defense is as bad as I have ever seen in the nfl. Its comical at this point.

Our goose is cooked sunday.

Only the jones family could one up the Snyder families nonsense. what the Commanders are going through is insane and yet they are going to kick our teeth in and knock us out of the playoffs.

No big deal though, Jerry and Stephen will enjoy it.

The skins can wear us down if they're smart. And they'll probably hit a couple big play action shots.

I know dez has some clutch big plays @wsh but it feels like he doesn't move well on that field . Not enough to keep us close

washingtons defense always plays us well.

just like dom capers unit sunday, all Washington needs two stops probably in the second half and we lose.

which definitely means its romos fault. The defense gave up 34 points in one half to a beat up packers team which I believe has only happened 5 times in the history of the league and the dummies blame the qb.

maybe it is his fault though, he is kind of short.

Anyone want to run the scenarios if he we had actually held on to win at Detroit or against Green Bay?

The scenario is that we could have clinched with a win and an Eagles loss, or that we wouldn't have to play any of our starters this week, because we could have lost and still won the East in Week 17.

Oh, and if we had won both of those games, this team would be East champs right now. Thanks coach!

Meh.....I've pretty much had it.

This team will not compete for a Super Bowl this year, which is what it's all about anyway.

The sooner this season is over the better. As mentioned, however this season ends will almost certainly be another embarrassment. Whether it's at the hands of the Commanders, another embarrassment finale for the division, or in the playoffs.

Spare us fans and get this hot garbage, freak show off the field. It would be just as well if the Cowboys lose this week and the Eagles win this weekend to spare us even more headline embarrassment.

I'm torn. I want to win out, of course. I have a hard time trusting our offense to lift us past either of these teams--even as pathetic as the Sk*ns are right now--all on it's own. And I can't see how we could possibly patch the defense quickly enough.

What I've wanted for the last few weeks was 8-8 and a division championship and a home playoff win, because that would crack me up and give me something to be annoying about during the whole offseason. At this point, though, that would mean losing to the Sk*ns, and I can't get behind that in any way, shape or form (not to mention beating the Eagles after that would look to be a really, really tall order). I *can* readily see both the Cowboys and the Eagles losing this week, though, which would make the week 17 game in Dallas interesting. If that happens, the stadium sound guy should play that forklift backing up musing the entire fourth quarter of the game, for either team.

Now that's pretty funny, I can easily see that cropping up in a game day thread.

It's never been made easier to steal a division.

Garrett has had years to build his team his way .
Giants an Eli derp it up all year/take a pass.
The skins implode .
The eagles install a new offense with a first year coach and switch to a pocket passer.

Well face FOUR straight backup qb's to end the year. Talk about good luck with injuries....

Sad that we're even talking about this. We should already have this sorry division locked up, or at least be able to lock it up against the paws-up Commanders.

I've said this same thing numerous times. The division is/was ours for the taking. Not to mention a cream puff schedule. We lose this week and Eagles win, it is indeed over.

I do think we will get by the Skins, AS WELL WE SHOULD. The Eagles on the other hand will be a challenge that Garrett can't handle. He will be outcoached and out everythinged.

There is very little I like about the guy.
