Relax on Baskett, he did it last Training camp but never seen the field.

Baskett tore us a new one in one game. I think it was last year.

they needed another wr even with brown. Aikman called reggie brown a 3 or a 4 last year who didnt improve from year to year.

the thing is, other teams are not willing to just send gamebreakers to an already powerful team.

maybe they get roy williams now. they have ammo and what detroit most likely wants.

I'd be surprised if they were smart enough to make such a move.

The Eagles' stubbornness and arrogance are their undoing.

They always feel like they're the smartest guys in the room and won't make a deal unless they feel they're fleecing the other team.

That's why they're seldom able to get trades accomplished unless it's on draft day and the clock is ticking.

Seems to me the Eagles are a team at a crossroads who can't decide if they want to build or if they want to win now - and they end up doing neither.

Yes, McNabb definitely put the biscuit in the Baskett a couple of times. But Baskett and Kevin Curtis as starting wideouts? I'll take that any day of the week, we will own them.

yep it is why they are successfull and why they cant get over the top.

Lurie and banner both grew up die hard red sox fans and watched the red sox over the years when they had big names, that is the core of why they dont sign big name players.

They may be backed into a corner if brown blew his achillies.

Injuries suck...no matter to whom they occur to.

Hope it's not serious.

As far as the eagles now. Do they make a trade for a vet WR?

Offer Crayfish to the Eagles. They love players with big moufs.

Funny, but still no mention of this on any Eagle board.

This is one of those sayings that sounds dirty, but really isn't.

At least I think it really isn't. You're saying McNabb threw some passes to Hank Baskett, right?

Not at all, I'm saying McNabb and Baskett had sex in the showers. :laugh2:

Actually, that's what I was saying, but when I reread, your point came to mind. :laugh2:

What was the Cowboys record that year? Who were the CB's covering him?

It was Watkins getting burned badly on a double move when McNabb had all day to throw.

And Watkins who decided not to try for the ball on the other McNabb bomb, I think to Reggie Brown? I'm sure Roy was around somewhere too. :laugh2:

It was 2006 and the record was 9-7, I think.

The CB's covering him were Laurel and Hardy, iirc.
