Eagles WR Reggie Brown Goes Down With Achilles Injury..

Not sure who you hang with but where I'm from people cheer when an injured player for the opposing team gets up and returns to the game. They don't cheer when there's an injury or be callous and obnoxious about it. There is always a few jerks who revel in someones injury. Everywhere and most everytime.

My last post on this topic and others for some time.

I'm not talking about at a game. I'm talking about around a water cooler at work when word comes that so-and-so sprained his MCL and will miss the next 5 weeks. Many people will be happy to see the opposing good player out for their game against the home team next-week... and they will say as much.

Not online though. No sir. It is only cool to want to face team X with all their starters.

Doesn't matter too much to me either way. People can think what they want... and post what they want within guidelines.

Pretty self-centered to think that anything we fans think will have an effect on who gets hurt at practice. :laugh2:

I didn't mean no posting at all here. Just no posting more on this. And there is no problem with saying too bad about an injury but glad not to play them at full strength. I'd prefer to beat them at strength for a number of reasons including them not having excuses like we'd have beaten you except for....

Dehuminizing, insensitive, sadistic, uncultured, anti-social, yada yada. It's not acceptable behavior on many levels obviously. I'd prefer to beat them at strength for a number of reasons including them not having excuses like we'd have beaten you except for....

I'm still chuckling over the whole Sean Taylor comedy from last season. It's because I'm die-hard and not afraid to tell it like it is.

The old-fashioned *** whoopin we got by the Eagles on xmas really, really stung.(and it was probably my worst xmas in my lifetime) And that egg we layed against them in TX Stadium last year stung as much too, why? B/c it almost costed us HFA. And aren't we 1-3 against them the last 2 years?

So what's the point? I want to play this team at FULL STRENGTH...so that way, if/when we beat them, the national media pundits like Skip Bayless won't come out and say, "But Dallas beat some team that didn't have have half of their starters", blah, blah, blah.

NO EXCUSES people. I just hope this team keeps their focus and brings their A game.
