Who would you rather have Coach the Boys next year.
EASY answer for me. Cowher, without question.

I would take Cowher over Parcells real easy. The Steelers are in the AFC Championship. Parcells has yet to get us just one playoff win. Cowher is the better coach now. Parcells was a better coach before I was born.

Agree Wolv.
I am shocked by the results of the poll so far.
There is no basis for Parcells winning this poll.

Goshan.

Parcells is a good coach but there are at least 10 other coaches I would take over him easy.

Bill Bilichek
Bill Cowher
Mike Holmgren
Joe Gibbs
Mike Shanahan
Marv Lewis
Tony Dungy
Tom Coughlin
John Gruden
Andy Reid
John Fox

You are like me Goshan. You are not a blind homer.

Parcells is one of the best 15 coaches in the NFL but he is not even a top 10 coach. Not even close.

Pitt would have 8-9 superbowls by now if Tuna coached them the past decade, including a W over the 'boys.

the fact that Cowher has been coaching for 15 years and has never won a SB might have something to do with it don't you think

Bill Cowher is the king of choke artists. He has lost THREE NFC title games at home, THREE. The one he did win at home, Indy should have won, and he then proceeded to lose to Dallas in the SB. Bill Cowher simply cant get his teams over the hump.

Parcells and I dont even have to think about it.

What is hysterical about this thread is that it would not even exist if Vanderjagt hits a 46 yard FG.

Knee jerk at its absolute finest.

p.s. Cowher has spent the last decade in the same division with the Browns and the Bengals. Please, attempt to interject some level of reality into your relentless Parcells bashing, it makes it at least slightly more interesting.

The fact that Cowher always has his team in the playoffs and a Super Bowl contender is good nuff for me.

Parcells 3 years 1 playoff game. That is 33%

I am pretty sure that Cowhers Steelers have a much higher percent for the playoffs then what Parcells has given the Cowboys.

Fact..Cowher is a better coach NOW then Parcells is.

As a Cowboy fan, you have low standards. I dont want to contend every year, I want to win every year. Bill Belicheck is the only guy I'd take over BP for next season.

Or, you can look at it this way, If the Steelers had BP this whole time, they would have alot more close games...ie., close losses.

Cowher is and has been an excellent coach since he's been in the NFL.

Right now, I'm not sure who I would take.

Besides, does ANYBODY think that if BP were the coach there, that BR would be the QB?

No it is you that have low standards. What coach has his team 1 game away from the Super Bowl.

It is Bill Cowher....not Bill Parcells.

Parcells has gotten us nowhere even close to the Super Bowl.

Yeah my intelligence is so low that I see Cowher got his team to the the AFC Championship while all Bill Parcells has done for us is give us a record barely above .500. Thanx for remindin me how stupid I am.

Cowher is a very good coach. BUt 14 years without a Lombardi pretty much tells you where he ranks.

No, maybe Kordell Stewart would be.

Point is we never had a chance to draft BR, no matter who the coach was.

Oh wait.....maybe I need to put on my Silver and Blue glasses to see things the way you do.

What do you NOT GET about Parcells taking over a perennial 5-11 team with a roster loaded with crap? It takes time to turn that over, and the NFCE has been improving steadily along with us.

Or that Cowher every year has at least two completely abysmal teams in his division to beat up on, making the playoffs a virtual lock?

There's been plenty of coaches that you could mention that haven't won a superbowl.

Marv Levy was a great HC and in the HoF....never won a superbowl.

Besides, Cowher has been to the Superbowl more recently than BP has.

I'm not saying that I would take Cowher over BP, just saying that Cowher is an excellent coach.
