I expect the guy who has proven to not come up in big moments to follow pattern and continue to fail and yes true to form he failed again. In fact I don't even expect Dak to step up and make a play in the regular season when he is playing a playoff caliber team. He has so far not disappointed in that.
So you expect it and then blame him when it happens. Meanwhile the defense doesn't get one turnover, niners offense never threatened, purdy never pressured.... i mean, you really think Purdy was under durress lol........... you're just lost. Watch that game then watch niners philly 1st quarter the next week and compare. I know it'll be difficult but try to compare the 2 defenses.

Is blame somehow absolved by expectation? LOL. Am I to understand that because someone is expected to screw up that we are going to give them a pass on screwing up and blame everyone else?

I’d be all for reducing his role in the offense if we could also reduce his impact on the salary cap. But he was paid like he’s Mahomes or Allen. So that’s where his bar needs to be.

Stupid premise, Ed.

Of course Mike is capable of doing that. The question is, would Jerry and Dak stand for that? The answer is obviously no. Dak has tremendous latitude and influence here as the Franchise QB and Jerry Favorite. They're the ones determining this, not the head coach.
Remember we were going to run the ball more when they fired Kellen Moore? LOL...now Sequan could break the NFL single season rushing record in his first season as a coordinator in Philadelphia.
