I'd like to see that.

The Joneses need their stars to step up and show they want to win and if they have to leave Dallas to do that then so be it.

It would be a nice wake up call.
Jerry caved to Zeke when Zeke held out with 2 years remaining on his deal and caved to Dak when Dak insisted on a 4-year deal instead of a fifth year.....so like you I would welcome Parsons saying to Jerry it's not all about the money but about winning...and Dallas isn't winning with Dak at the helm so I want out.

more like...

"Cowboys will win 8 games"
Well had they only won 8 games they would be picking 14th-16th in the draft instead of 26th thereby getting a better player to help the organization while having a similarly disappointing season.

Nah...give me 13 wins every year. I don't enjoy losses. I'm a cowboys fan afterall.

Well, many are tired of this organization always falling short. They do just enough to be 'relevant' but not enough to be a legitimate SB contender. Either commit to a full rebuild or commit to a SB push but this middle-of-the-pack mentality BS is getting old.

Maybe. It's my gut feeling. Kid seems like he craves greatness, and not just being great at what he does. He doesn't seem like someone who is gonna settle for being recognized as a great player that never won anything. Again, my gut feeling.

He can do a lot worse than back to back 12 win teams. Players are a bit more realistic than fans. They don't blame the current roster for 27 years, and they have said as much. He will plant roots playing for his favorite team and the team he dreamed of being drafted to.

Things can change in the next THREE-FOUR years, but unless we are in a step decline I don't expect him to leave.

In any event we have a lot of ground to cover before this becomes a potential problem.

After his comments about how "keeping CMC and Deebo in check and giving up 1 td should have been enough to win without the 2 picks" I am getting the feeling that MP has seen enough of DP. I think if Quinn leaves and has his team a contender, MP will be out of here as soon as his contract allows to reunite with him. I'm sure he's aware of how this team has wasted numerous HoF level careers without sniffing a ring and something about his personality tells me he isn't here to be another one of them.
The dam has cracked.
Players have seen it enough. TY Hilton was yelling at Dak during the game, it was the classic " I'm open" rant.
I promise defenders have had enough of the pick machine. The cats out of the bag, Jerry has to do something.

If Dak stays Parsons goes I believe.

His comments after the game show two things.

1) He wants to win.
2) He knows they did enough to win, but the QB didn't do his job AGAIN.

If Parsons continues to be as outspoken as he appears to be, and if winning is as important to him as it appears to be, I can absolutely see him forcing the issue.

The Jones' would have to decide whether to use what power they have, fifth year option/franchise tags, to keep an outspoken player who is on record as not wanting to be there, or cut their losses and work with Parsons to get the best win/win situation possible

In my opinion it would be foolish to keep him there against his wishes, for many reasons.

Parsons is one of few players who actually holds some serious cards in this game. He will be welcome anywhere. He will get PAID wherever he goes. He will have shown that he is serious about winning.

At least my prediction was based in reality.

They won 4 more games than I predicted.

Meanwhile, Mahomes is the MVP while Dak led the NFL in INTs while missing 5 games.
We won 5 more games.

Also, at least you finally stopped claiming a victory in a bet...this is a much better tact.

As I referenced in a post, there is nothing that would stop Parsons from holding out and demanding a trade.
That never works in the nfl holding out doesn't accuse a year so you are just kicking the can down the road.

Why would I keep claiming victory while you keep saying "Bets off!"?

I don't need to claim victory. I just need to keep letting people know when you get chippy with them that you thought that highly of Dak to make the bet to begin with.

The question is what can they do? They have to restructure Dak, DLaw, Zeke (if he stays), Martin, and Tyron Smith (if he stays) not to mention deciding what to do with Pollard, Schultz, McGovern, N. Brown, LVE, Rush, Wilson, and Maher (to name the main guys).....so what realistically can they do in terms of improving and not standing status quo by bringing back basically the same team?????

It creates a major distraction and major hole on defense so it would force Dallas' hand....see what Zeke and Emmitt Smith did.

He gets traded before he leaves and we should get the bag for him. May as well shoot for the stars and trade Micah, Diggs and CeeDee, get the draft picks motherload and start with a franchise QB and build from there. Jerry would NEVER EVER EVER have the balls of Jimmy to do that though.
Jimmy traded Herchel freaking Walker...

C'mon, don't embarrass yourself.
