That is the federal agency in charge of equal opportunity - employers are not supposed to discriminate based on race ... etc.
Others have made the case that Josh Brown, a white employee, admitted to 20 cases of DV got 1 game.
And other black employees have gotten 10 games or similar for less than 20 cases of DV.
Yet Zeke got 6 games while his accuser has admitted or have been proven to falsify evidence.
There is no way an antitrust protection CBA protects from equal opportunity cases.
Zeke should get less than 1 game - or actually 0 games.

A white quarterback got four games for deflating a football. A black running back got two games for beating the crap out of his girlfriend on camera in an elevator. A black Hall of Fame linebacker got away with accessory to murder.

I don't see a racial angle here that could be won, but even if there was, that has nothing to do with Zeke. That's a larger case to be tried by the NFLPA versus the NFL. And that one would take years.

Was reading he could get his suspension shortened if he shows contrition.

In other words if he bows down to GODdell and his kangaroo court he shall be resolved of his sins and be granted leniency. :)

i compared dv to dv.
nfl punishment is completely irrational if you go across the spectrum of violations.
based on what you said, gregory should get out free.

nfl is desperate to get a win for the women's groups.
they want to bargain - but they need to be sued.

I think that's more likely than them being racist. They have to take a tough stance so that in the public's eye, nobody can deny that they are serious about domestic violence. Also makes for a lot of free press and gets people talking about the league more because it's the Cowboys.

We agree there. There's no rhyme or reason to the suspensions.

But my fear is, Zeke is just a matter of weeks from the next suspension, and the next, and the next. He's got to get his life together.

When Urban Meyer is publicly worried about your drinking problem, that's disturbing. Don't need a Johnny Manziel on this roster.

yes they are cornered basically, particularly now.
it is basically clear their punishment is unequal, and there is no arguing how unequal it is for DV cases.
besides josh brown, are there any other dv case for a white player?
if not, then all the black players have been punished unequally compared to the white player.
time to drive the stake through their heart.

I agree in theory, but the league has shown its not an equal oppurunity anything, remember they denied a certain person to buy into the league. So if anything, lets keep race out and wish EE well on appealing based on facts and that is WAY in his favor. But again anything we say is countered with "its a private league" .

I don't think they'll play the race card here but the disparity must be addressed by the league office. I'm hoping the media asks the same question and puts the league on blast.

there is no escape from equal opportunity protection.

Why do we always have to turn everything into a race issue?

because it will likely work because the CBA cannot protect from equal opportunity.
furthermore, with the league threatening additional punishment, you need a trump card.

Last time I checked, Big Ben was white, he got six games too..that was reduce to four games..Tom Brady, thee best player in the NFL was suspended for four games, if Zeke's appeal was successful somewhat and his suspension was reduced to four games, which I doubt will happen, do you really want national media and women's groups arguing that deflating footballs and domestic violence are on the same level....The league took a huge hit after the Ray Rice incident, especially when the video came out, it's a different time now folks...

Are you implying that the league, or the people running the league are racists?
