Covington is good depth at DT. Good fit. Hyder seems like a guy who could easily wash out during training camp/preseason.

The numbers were the real issue with that deal. You can thank Stephen Jones for that one.

As long as the deals are structured with little to no dead cap impact, go for it.

I admit I thought he'd be a good run stuffer here. The problem was he was a better fit in the 3-4. Kerry Hyder is a 4-3 player all the way. And Covington looks like he can play in any scheme.
