Dak didn't play well at all but I agree with Rex. The MAIN issue was the defense. But I'd rather dak not be here next year but the defense is missing 1-2 huge pieces

oh ya i know, but defense had injuries and just never recovered, plus what youre saying in that to begin with they had some missing pieces. They for sure need almost everything it seems; DT, DE, LB, CB, and even safety, dont know how you fix that in one offseason, maybe overshown coming back helps LBer but even with LVE back i still feel eh there. Mazi hopefully gets the benefit of a full offseason and does better, i hope OSA improves cause he seems to die off past the halfway point of the season.
Bland is very much like Diggs '21 season where he gets picks or gets burnt, JL and Gilmore were ok.
Safety is a ? as Kearse sucks, Wilson kinda came back and Hooker doesnt seem the same.
DE seems like noone but Parsons can do anything, and parsons being there hurts our run defense.

What leadership/toughness/alpha do either of them bring? They are 2 more "football players". In the playoffs neither guy will be ready for a fight. Nothing will change. 90s cowboys had Haley and Ken Norton among others lol. We have two nice guys coming back. Yay

Yeah but neither should be considered plug and play all pro players. Both coming off of tough ACL injuries that sometimes guys come back from like nothing happend and sometimes guys need that 'rehab year' where they just dont move quite the same. Overshown hasn't even played a snap in the NFL yet.

See my comments above. Rex is a bully and you have to push back hard on him. Dan isn't that type, but Damien Woody is.

Sometimes I feel like Rex is trying to keep himself out there for a new job. This isn't first time I've seen him by the "savior hero" for a person who obviously didn't deserve it. Might be his ego doing that too.

But that's how he was as a Coach. Protective of his guys. LIke I put in post above, these guys bring their old habits into their analysis.
