News: ESPN: Orlovsky ranks the 14 QBs in the playoffs

Classic

One of the most ad nauseum repeated mantras of the Davidians is that Dak's critics "probably never played football" beyond Pop Warner

So when a former NFL QB doesn't shower Dak with Praise, of course, his opinion is no longer valid either.

Close your eyes and listen to the sound of the goalposts being dragged to a new location.

Lawrence is not up and down. He has taken exactly the devcelopment you want from your top picked QB. In the second part of this season he has shown why he was taken as the #1 pick. Comparing him to Dak is just unfair to Prescott. Lawrence plays in another league.

Cousins is an average QB. But i suggest you should watch the fourth quarter from Cousins against Burrows then you know what you can expect from an average QB. He of course is better than Prescott.

With only Purdy and Thompson ranked behind him. Purdy because he's only had a few starts and Thompson because he's only playing because the starter and backup are injured.

If Tua was playing and you don't worry about Purdy suddenly falling apart, we have the worst QB in the playoffs.

This is why "likes received" was banned.....like a Crypto Rug Pull

12. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
This might look low, but Prescott enters the playoffs fresh off the worst season of his career. The ball has just consistently been in the wrong place, and he doesn't seem to be seeing the field clearly. He missed five games earlier in the season, but he still tied for the league lead in interceptions (15). Prescott has been too quick to leave the pocket, too, not putting enough faith in the protection.
But I'll say this: Prescott is nails out there. He has an unwavering mentality, and that can go a long way in the postseason. And his connection with receiver CeeDee Lamb is outstanding.
Ask yourself if your qb has the ability to get you a win. If the answer is yes, then his place on some inane list proffered by an outside observer means nothing. If your answer is no then begin looking for a qb who can. Again, the ranking means nothing to a win/loss column.

No.5 on the list, Herbert loses after No.9 on the list, Lawrence throws 4 INTs

Dan Orlovsky list is an abomination

The problem with Dak is he can come out and play like a top 5 QB or he can play like a bottom 5 QB. The other issue is his last game was hard to forget so it will have a great impact on his ranking.

Who cares what that bonehead thinks. Dak will either prove him wrong or right.

Lamar's not even playing, so we can move our guy up 1!
:flagwave:

j/k

Really, there are
  • the 4 that had great seasons (Mahomes, Burrow, Hurts, Allen)
  • then there will be those that will always have Brady up there during the playoffs....right or wrong...that's 5
  • then there's the bottom 2 backups (Thompson and Huntley)....so that's 7

that leaves the 7 in the middle

As far as I'm concerned put those 7 in whatever order you choose.
I have my preferences, for sure, but won't argue too much with others'.

Im glad the media is beating this team over the head, maybe it will get them fired up this time because they got called out last year for being soft and did not repsond.
