Still a vast improvement over his previous 3yrs. He's also had crap coaching his 1st 3 yrs in the NFL. So 17 games, 6 fumbles, 3 lost is bad in your book? But Daks 15 Ints in 12 games = good, huh? As a team, we had only 16 turnovers in 17 games, 2nd best in the NFL. We also had the #4 run game in the NFL with 2519yds 21 TDs & 4.8ypc, why throw a ton if the run game is effective?

If you have to throw 35-40x vs TB , you're losing.
Vast improvement? Lol that's not saying much, he went from putting up 60s era QB numbers to 70s era Qb numbers. Never said Daks interceptions were good, but even with the interceptions Dak puts up more points. Let me know when Daniel Jones starts playing like a QB from this decade

Problem is that you're into video game # stats like 340 passing yds & 3TDs every game, only a small handful of QBs are in that category and it mostly signifies that they have a weak run game and have to rely on the passing game to win. I'd rather have a well balanced offensive attack that runs/throws 50/50. Another thing you have to take into consideration with my team is that we lack big time WRs, not 1 Giants WR is in the NFL top 70 WRs list! It's a WR corps by committee.

12. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
This might look low, but Prescott enters the playoffs fresh off the worst season of his career. The ball has just consistently been in the wrong place, and he doesn't seem to be seeing the field clearly. He missed five games earlier in the season, but he still tied for the league lead in interceptions (15). Prescott has been too quick to leave the pocket, too, not putting enough faith in the protection.
But I'll say this: Prescott is nails out there. He has an unwavering mentality, and that can go a long way in the postseason. And his connection with receiver CeeDee Lamb is outstanding.
Ouch, chaps!
Daniel Jones and Geno Smith ahead of Dak?
If I were Dak I'd sue Orvlosky.

As much as I have been on Dak, nobody in the media talks about Josh Allen and his picks. In the end, who cares how any of these guys played in the regular season, it all starts in the playoffs and nothing else matters

This team is good enough to win it all. This team is inconsistent enough to lose game 1. To me that falls squarely on the coaches heads. MM, KM and yes, even DQ all need to step up and prove they have what it takes to lead a team all the way to glory.

Big Mike needs to take this team by the horns and lead them. He needs to have great clock/game management and step in where he needs to. If he can do that, they have a shot to go a long way this post season.

DQ needs to come up with something to help this defense get back to being successful. The ball is coming out too fast for our pass rush to have as much effect as it did early on. The secondary is missing key guys and is getting torched. He needs to find away to keep Tom from lighting us up. If he can do that, they have a shot to go a long way this post season.

KM needs to stop being so bland and predicable. He needs to open things up and go for it like he's coaching for his job, cause he is. If he can do that, they have a shot to go a long way this post season.

Dak needs to trust his guys, stay in system and take what the defense gives him. If he can do that, they have a shot to go a long way this post season.

Interception rate among NFL QB's:
1 (worst) Dak 3.8%
10 Allen 2.5%

Dak has literally 150% of Allen's INT rate. I believe Dak's INT rate is one of the worst of the past 10 years among qualified QB's. People talk about it because it really sticks out. I think that the Cowboys fan echo chamber has kind of minimized this to an extent.

I pretty much agree with where he has Dak although I think you could make an argument for 11, but 10 would be a bit of a stretch.
Considering that Dak has led the league in INTs despite playing 5 less games AND he’s coming off the worse game of his career last week, there is wisdom coming from the young Orlovsky.

having said this, I hope Dak has the BEST game of his career next game and silences the critics because it’s not just orlovsky saying this……it’s been said on every sports media show out there.

The thing with Dak is, he can play like a top 3 QB or he could play like a bottom 3 QB. A lot of times within the same game.

I have no clue which Dak shows up for this game.

Solid list, shocked he didn't have Purdy ahead of him. He's played a lot better than Dak the last few weeks. I'd have Lamar down a bit further because he's injured, same with Hurts. Otherwise, can't argue it too much.
Can't argue with Dak's struggles but Purdy ? Have you truly watched a 49er game ? He throws 10 passes a game to his RBs mostly at the line of scrimmage. Then he throws another 10 to the TEs about 5 yds upfield. He's asked to make 2-3 throws a game. Yes, they're winning. Yes, he winds up with 240yds passing per game. But he's by far and away the most coddled QB in the playoffs. Literally ANY QB in the league would have success with that support and play design.

Here's hoping for an exceptional experience for Dak in the playoffs. It would serve him well to offer encouragement for the fans.

Being smart with the football and not trying to play hero ball worked for us for a while. Not gonna knock the guy for playing smart football. This is pretty much the recipe Brady used for the first few years of his career...and then some.
