Guys? Please. No more namecalling. At least adopt a cease fire until daybreak. The staff does not stay awake 24 hours a day.

...except for @BrAinPaiNt. That guy is always watching. Always waiting. Ready to pounce. He could be AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

Crap. That was just my shadow. Dang it!

It has been. You just have no clue what leadership is all about. I could go on and on about how he displays his leadership but you wouldn’t get it. I’ll just give 1 example because I don’t want to have to defend them all. Dak could be holding out this year. He isn’t. He’s practicing just as hard as anyone and harder than most. That’s leadership. I get it that you don’t understand that, but it’s fact.
You stay in defense mode. All those topics to debate about Dak and instead you zero in on the poster almost always. Same for a few others on here.

I think I do well as an owner of a company and am sure I know something about leadership. You think Dak not holding out is leadership? That seems rich to me but I won’t criticize it. I respect that is your opinion.

You must have posted a half dozen times or more and I’m not sure you’ve yet to address his actual comments. Would be great to see you engage in an actual debate. When you’re not fan-policing, and Dak defending, I enjoy your posts.

Yes, Dak not holding out shows leadership. I mean common sense. Who else is going to get the offense going before opening day? Who’s going to get chemistry with the WR’s? TE’s? RB’s? Who’s going to get the cadence down with the offensive lineman? Again, common sense.

What world championship do you compete for in your job?
I compete for awards. In my profession, they are our world championships. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't.

But my value as an employee isn't based on titles. It is based on what my bosses think of the job I'm doing. There's only one champion in football, so if athletes' value was based on that, then only the Super Bowl winners would get rewarded. You'd have a major revolt by the players' union if that happened.

Telling someone they have “issues” is an insult.

Calling someone a “hater” is an insult.
I agree. There's no reason for it. We are all Cowboys fans and just express it differently. We should stick to discussing the thread topic and not discussing each other.

And with my own advice in mind, so this post is all I'm going to say about that. I've said before that I don't think hater is a word that should be used here. Frankly, I feel the same about calling someone a Dak lover. It's meant as an insult and should not be used.

Let’s be real please, Dak kept balling. The others not so much.
Here is a recap of Dak's performance:

Dak Prescott struggled throughout the 48–32 loss to Green Bay Packers, despite throwing for 400 yards and three touchdowns. He was particularly woeful in the first half when he threw two interceptions, including a pick six, as the Cowboys were down 20 heading into the break.

Give me a break. If he holds out it would postpone when he becomes a free agent. He wants out. He’ll play it out without doing anything that could possibly give another team pause about signing him. Sans about $65 million per year he’s done with Dallas, done with Jerry Jones, and done with Cowboys fans. Who can blame him?

In other words, you don't compete for anything that means jack, and this post of yours is a confession that you know exactly why I asked you the question - because your analogy comparing private normie jobs with professional athletes is ridiculous.

A job is a job. They get paid millions because the NFL makes billions. For them, this is their "normal" job.

None of the quarterbacks who have gotten paid in the $55 million range lately have won world championships. So in your estimation, are they worthless? Should they not get paid whatever they can get the billionaire owners to pay them?

By the way, I'm quite proud of having won for best editorial in six out of 10 years (especially considering we didn't compete for two years). It may mean jack to you, but it is a big deal among my peers, just like winning a Super Bowl is a big deal among football players' peers.

I'm so over this player. Please, just let him walk Dallas. I'm fine with starting fresh. If Lance is the dood. Great. If he is not, let's go get that dood. Dak ain't it.

Any of the media hacks going to ask questions the fan actually WANT to know about? Not about if we will be stuck with him (we will be). Not about if he lied when he said he doesn't play for money (he did). How about actual questions the fans care about considering we are stuck with him for 5 more years, like, have you learned how to throw a ball out of bounds after 8 years?

America's choker. Can't read a zone defense but has no problem reading a contract. No urgency in the post season. But comes ready and willing in the preseason for more money.

Enjoy another roller coaster season to be followed by a time honored post season Heimlich maneuver.
