ESPN Radio Says Keyshawn Johnson Cut

How about Tony Curtis' spot as the #3 TE?

I doubt it happens either, but I'd much rather have a proven guy that can contribute over a developmental TE anyday.

I think everyone's missing the big story here.

Carolina just paid him a $3 million bonus a month ago.

That type of financial mismanagement is what keeps a franchise like Carolina from being a perrenial contender.

Way to throw away $3 million.

I like Keys heart and his attitude of giving it all on the field but he could not talk about any WR on draft day without mentioning himself in the same sentence. It was pretty self serving and sad!

This is kinda funny in that light and how he spoke about showing Jarrett and telling Jarret all this stuff.

The Ravens may be a good place for him to land. A vet team led by its running game and defense would be perfect since he won't be asked to make any big plays.

I wonder what their cap hit is now for cutting Key.

I don't believe this was news to Keyshawn Johnson. If I remember on the Draft Show (which he did a heck a job on), he talked as if he wasn't sure he was coming back.

On Dan Patrick's show, I believe it was said that he may go back to Tampa Bay and also I believe they said Key had a nice size signing bonus coming up and that may have factored into him being cut.

Haha here I was thinking Jarrett was going to be able to learn to actually run routes and use his large body to his advantage like Keyshawn always did to perfection...Carolina is frekin' ******** to let this guy go when jarrett is a rookie.

He takes our 3rd TE's spot. That's not too bad.

As a Ravens fan, I would love that, but we don't need another slow posession reciever...we already have that in Derick Mason. Keyshawn is a larger target, but Mason and Mcnair have are too much of a connection to split up; Mcnair always finds the guy...though that is happening less and les these days... :(

Yea no kidding, once again it's Keyshawn living in his owne fantasy world where he's an elite receiver.

You wanna know what the funniest comparison he made all day was? When he compared Calvin Johnson to himself....HA! What a joke.

So little did he know that Jarrett was actually his replacement? Wow. The interview was even more awkward than we thought.

An extra possession receiver wouldn't hurt the Ravens. He can take some pressure off of Heap and Mason to always make that clutch 3rd and long reception for a 1st. I never was a fan of Key (not half as good as he thinks) even in Dallas but at least he will show up every game and give it his all.

How much you want to bet that Key has already called Bert Farve.

If only I can mute it from my memory.

Sounds crazy I know, but I'd take him back in Dallas. I thought he provided a safety valve for Bledsoe when he was here.

He's more of a TE now than receiver, but his hands are as reliable as anybody's.

YES.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAAHAHAHAaa funny picture hahahaha. :laugh1: :laugh1: That is funny. Thank you very hard for that photo. It looks like he is saying "whazzaap!" to him. Damn that is funny rofl.

Baltimore, Green Bay and Atlanta seem like the most likely spots. However don't rule out New Orleans. That's a young WR core that could use some vet leadership and Key is familiar with Payton.
