In this situation, McHenry isn't any more or less guilty than countless others throughout human history--namely being pissed at the wrong person. Instead of discovering the person or persons who directly lit her fit, she unloaded on someone who wasn't responsible for upsetting her. Hopefully (and I sincerely doubt she has) McHenry learned a valuable lesson: Emotions can make idiots of anyone anywhere anytime.

Did the towing company make this video public? If so that is just as reprehensible, if not more so, than than the actions of this women. Clearly edited to contain only the "good" parts. Scumbag move.

I've also been a victim of predatory towing. If someone makes it a practice to take complete advantage of others to make a buck that someone deserves whatever words get thrown at them. They are just words. I'd have to assume the counter women has heard it all before. Only difference in this case is the "customer" is famous so lets edit the video footage and get our fifteen minutes.

Impossible to get a clear picture of exactly how this all went down.

Hope some people can go to court on some of their towing incidents.

There is. There is another article that I read that witnesses said that the girl behind the glass was extremely crude and rude to her. The witnesses said that the women was provoking her and that the video type is edited. The article also said that this towing co. has received an F rating from the better business bureau and that it was going to tow a car that a father had parked at a CVS store that had kids in it. The tow truck driver said he never saw the kids. Apparently, there has been over 40 complaints in the last 3 years about this company. The article went on to state that the company was trying to sell the video to ESPN to obtain money and when they refused, they put it viral hoping someone else would give them money. Still, she should not have done what she did and I have a problem with people who think they are entitled to things because of who they are. As my father would tell me, the only thing that you are entitle to is my foot up your a!! if you act like that.

Far be it for them to show both sides.

Now don't take this wrong as I find what the woman said to be pretty stupid.

But fire her? I don't think so.

I don't believe ESPN has any right to fire her, or suspend her to be quite honest, for something she said to people in her personal time.

Was she on the clock for ESPN doing a story? Maybe I missed something here but it would appear to me she was getting her own personal vehicle out of there, on her own time, which means ESPN does not, nor should they, have anything to say or feel about what she says to someone.

Depends on the state for which you work. If she works out of New York State, you don't have to have any reason whatsoever to terminate someone so long as it is not discriminatory in nature. Right or wrong, that is the law in NYS.

Long story short, my car was pulled from in front of a Subway (subway only parking spot, I was inside choosing my bread when my car was yanked), and when I went out to confront them, the comment was "Too bad, so sad". Police were of no help, take them to small claims court was the reply. Cost me $150 or so to get my car from the impound lot, and never received a dime from the towing company.

In fact, I applaud McHenry in her restraint, because I said far less nicer things to the smug, rude, <insert derogatory comment> counter person. And don't give me this, she was just an employee of the company. She knows full well what kind of shady business the towing company is, and deserved every comment that came her way.

Obvious an employee of Subway must have called the tow company. I would be more mad at them for the way they treated their costumer.

Interesting that the Arlington News responded to a tweet of hers that said she got towed after eating dinner (that has been deleted) Easter Sunday night, asking where she was parked and what happened.
They must have Marty McFly's DeLorean. She responded the next morning. Arlington News also told her that the same thing happened to another newswoman. I guess she was whoring around too. Along with the other people who responded about how corrupt and immoral this towing company is.
