Being the victim myself of a predatory towing company, I land on the side of McHenry in this situation. Long story short, my car was pulled from in front of a Subway (subway only parking spot, I was inside choosing my bread when my car was yanked), and when I went out to confront them, the comment was "Too bad, so sad". Police were of no help, take them to small claims court was the reply. Cost me $150 or so to get my car from the impound lot, and never received a dime from the towing company.
In fact, I applaud McHenry in her restraint, because I said far less nicer things to the smug, rude, <insert derogatory comment> counter person. And don't give me this, she was just an employee of the company. She knows full well what kind of shady business the towing company is, and deserved every comment that came her way.
