ESPN: Sizing up Seattle's chances against Cowboys

Seattle's O-line is a walking MASH unit, they will be blocking Ware and Rat with a bunch of bench scrubs.

We should get constant pressure all freaking day, we will win by 2 TDs easy.

I want to see a Cowboys team that doesn't play down to the level of the opponents. We are clearly the better team here, but we have this tendency to play to the level of our opponents. We might have grown out of that...after Miles Austin scored that first TD on Sunday, I almost thought the Cowboys were going to let up. I was glad to see that they played tough for the rest of the game except that one confusion play when Atlanta got their last TD.

I see our DL forcing a lot of mistakes that will translate in to points, either directly or indirectly. Also for some reason I think our running game finally has a breakout.

Dallas 47 to 17.

Oh, there certainly are trap games - and Dallas often seems to play to the level of the competition so far in 2009-10. Just don't let Julius Jones have a 'revenge game' and we should be alright.

they are coming off a bye week and are desperate for a win.they also have good receivers.if we maintain constant pressure on hassleback then we win.

I've been hoping since Kitna's acquisition he would explain what he meant by those comments lol. I may never get my wish lol.

Newman and Trufant are in the same class IMO. Good solid CBs. They get beat, but more times than not, they win their battles.

What Kitna was saying about Bradie was true, particularly at that time. Bradie was horrible in pass coverage back then. Opposing teams were scheming us to death to take advantage of Bradie in the 5-12 yd middle zone that season. He's improved since then to become somewhat decent.

"Somewhat decent"? Are you kidding me?

The dude should have been a pro bowler the last two years. He was snubbed twice.

Due to injuries, they have major issue on the O-Line and in the secondary. Those are two areas that the Cowboys should really be able to exploit.

Coming off a bye week, I suspect that Seattle will not be roadkill, however. They do have a decent win or two.

The Chiefs O-line was a bunch of walking wounded nobody's, but we could not get out of our own way most of the game. We can beat anyone if we play a clean game.

I'd be happy with a squeaker of a win and a disciplined Offensive line.

If we don't committ penalties than there isn't a lot of teams we wont blow out but point taken.

Moderately concerned about Seattle. Well, more concerned with our Defense than with Seattle, actually. If they go back to sloppy tackling and uninspired play like we've seen most of the year, then we got trouble. Their offense isn't all that impressive, even with hasselbeck healthy and their good young pass-catching TE Carlson can't be used in the passing game because their OL is so weak. Housh and Hasselbeck are a little scary but no one else is.

Agree completely. There is only one thing holding this team back from Indy/Saints territory and that is dumb penalties. If they can someone learn to avoid those horrendous pre-snap flags, they can be dominant. For some reason I don't see them being focused enough this week to do so, but it will still be enough to beat the Seahawks.

Cowboys 34 'Hawks 17

Yes, we can not afford to have a let down against them. I will be at the game so I hope we do hang 50 on them.

I think we run on them and don't score a ton. 27 at the most. 27 to 10 or 13 is fine with me.

I am liking the confidence in here.

NOw for my reality.

I think the Hawks keep this close. 21-19 Dallas

The offense is averaging 29.6 points and the defense is giving up an average of 20.3 points at Cowboys Stadium.

Based on just averages alone...

Cowboys 30
Seabags 20

:hawks:

The hawks still don't know what the o-line will look like on sunday. Probably won't know until friday. I do know matt will play. All our recievers and running backs will play and trufant and hill will play. Kerney is still a question mark. The d-line will all be there. So for the seahawks, pass protection and the running game are my main concerns because of all the injuries that we are still dealing with on the o-line. The defense should be close to full strength though for the first time this year.

Nah man. Bradie is awful in coverage. Awful.

This game will be over at halftime, the Seabirds will be bagged and tagged.

Man, I used to say that alot. But I have learned to not go there. :)

Just win... by 1 or by 50... just win.
